I’ve had two turkey sandwiches so far. First I have to say, I eat almost no processed meats.
That said, the little I do allow myself, I always wash under running cold water for a minute or two
to eliminate of some of the sodium, etc. Then I dry with paper towels. You know how some processed
meats don’t taste like the meat they’re suppose to be… that is not this. This turkey breast tasted
like turkey breast should taste. I had it on multi-whole grained bread with a little mayo and a light
olive oil mayo (my compromise, one pc bread gets the real thing, the other better for me mayo) a little
mustard, red leaf lettuce and spinach. Was all out of tomatoes or would have added a couple slices od it too.
This made a very good turkey sandwich. The only problem I have with it is you don’t get very much in a package
that is premium priced. I guess that’s the trade off for better turkey– as is often the case,
you get what you pay for and when eating organic, you pay a premium for all the additives, preservatives, etc.
you aren’t getting. Oh well… a battle for another day. Not only will I, but I am right now, ordering more. I plan to put a few packages in the freezer as part of my “stocking up”– preparing for possible quarantine due to Covid19.

Super thin, but it wasn’t my first choice. So as a back up it will do.

I’m not sure if preservatives are good for my family.

As others have said taste and texture is excellent. Called Applegate help line and they
could not have been more helpful regarding questions on additives, No carageenans!
Moving rapidly toward vegan regarding inhumane treatment oas well as health issues. This is tremendously
hampered by veggie products which are still processed foods containing MSG, food additives, fat etc.
High in protein minimal fat, excellent for weight loss. Eat couple pieces on slice of sourdough, veggies and mustard or straight from the package for a fabulous way to lose or maintain weight, especially at work with immediate protein energy boost.
Eliminates sugar cravings, at lest for me.

OK but not great. The slimy liquid inside the package is a concern.
Consume asap after opening package. May be frozen if not planning to eat within 2 days max.

Wanted more flavor. Love the quality of the food

Turkey is like a cut from a whole turkey, just coming out of the oven.

Wish we loved these. Deli meat was very slimmy

I like the product and wish it was available more often

I have a medically restricted diet, and these Applegate products contain NO preservatives and many of their meats are UNCURED which are the ONLY meats I can safely eat without a flare up. I highly recommend Applegate products. They have breaded chicken strips, black forest ham lunchmeat, etc. I’m so grateful they exist!
