Every once and awhile, you just want a cream soda. A and W is the best I’ve found compared to Mug and Barqs. Sweet without being sickeningly sweet. Middle of the road carbonation, which I like. Also a great price.
The soda gets a 5/5.
The shipping does not. Amazon loves to load 3-4 twelve can cases in a rather light duty box (all the while over boxing small lighter items). I try to stager my orders so they don’t do this, but sometimes it happens. When it does, I just expect to lose the whole order due to box breakage, or wind up with a bunch of dented cans. It’s a miracle when they come safe.
Amazon has been good about refunds/replacements, but I wish they’d get it right the first time.

Love this pop, however delivery is delayed twice already by unknown days. Hard to plan for having drinks when can’t currently rely on promised delivery. This happened in a prior order and also for another drink. Maybe it’s the weight issue. I’m not certain but taking to 3 stars are no response from seller.
A&W it’s known, of course, for great root beer and also had a chain of fast food restaurants around the country. Years ago I would take my girlfriend in my parents old car for a drive and we would pull into the local A&W drive in and place our order through and intercom. We would chat and anxiously await the server to come to the car and place the good on a tray table that would attach to the car window. Hot hamburgers and hot dogs, French fries and a Root Beer Float were on our menu for that date night. Great experiences always.
A&W continues to provide that same incredible flavor I remember getting only as a treat during my childhood in NY. Sometimes we would visit family members and relatives and when they would offer me a child Cream Soda from A&W my eyes would light up and my mouth would water. I even love that wonderful aroma that comes hand in hands with this fantastic flavored cream soda. Great soda cold in the can, served over ice cubes or placed into a milk shake
glassware and over good vanilla ice cream.
So happy we can continue to enjoy one of my favorite brands of soda and this actual cream soda from A&W all year long!

I ordered these last time they were on sale.
However, this time around every single can was in the Amazon box & not the manufacturer package (the cans were fine)
the cardboard soda box was taped heavily and falling apart.
Thankful none of them were damaged, but disappointed in the shipping standards.

I have used this vendor on several occasions much to my satisfaction however my last two orders A&W Cream Soda Ordered tasted as if they were sitting in damp warehouse for awhile. Each tasted like smoke and metal had settled in each can.
In addition the packaging needs o be more secure and sturdy Outside box arrived broken and inside each case had cracked open leaving cans to fall out of box .
