I use a fair amount of paper towels, so I thought I’d give a more sustainable option a try. Maybe because they are less expensive, but these are NOT at all absorbent. You have to basically wash whatever “coating” is on them off first, then they shrink by quite a bit. Even after two washes (in cold water) they still are NOT absorbent. So, I guess buy more expensive, perhaps better made ones? These were a waste of money and I have two rolls. I haven’t even used 5. Save your money or look elsewhere.

I use these to line the floor of a soft pet carrier for my disabled small bird. When they get soiled, I machine wash them. A fresh one is a tad stiff, like a paper towel, but after the first wash they get soft like a cloth. The first ones I’ve used have been washed 5 times and they’re still going strong.

Two rolls of reusable bamboo paper towels. So far, I have used them as covers for microwaved food. The towels would be stained but easy to clean by hand. I haven’t tried machine washing it yet. Haven’t had any of the towels shred on me yet.

The picture is a LIE. You only get one roll. Every where is shown 2 rolls. I would never pay $12.99 to get one roll. It’s totally bait and switch. The product is mediocre. Wash it and you get lint everywhere. Don’t waste your money.

These are very low quality and few bamboo sheets are usable more than once or twice. I use these with organic, natural cleansers for routine household cleaning and have noticed that most of the bamboo towel sheets shred after the 1st use. This defeats the purpose of picking a reusable product. I have purchased the bambooee brand before and I can attest that bambooee is a far superior product. I’ve been reusing and washing the bambooee towels for over 2 years without shredding or breakdown of the fabric.

I like the fact that the towels are not made by cutting trees that take years to get big enough to harvest.

I’ve been impressed with many of the bamboo replacements for paper products that I’ve tried lately, and these paper towels reinforce my positive opinion of them.
The towels come with a film on them that needs to be washed off for optimal performance, but once they’re washed they are far better at holding cleaning solutions and absorbing messes.
These towels are somewhat rough, but I find that this makes them ideal for scrubbing stubborn messes and caked-on gunk. I think that these are better for wiping up and gathering thick messes than they are for absorbing spills, but they’re great for keeping in a lidded tub with gentle cleaning solution and grabbing one when needed.
These towels don’t leave lint behind when cleaning, wash without wearing out in the laundry, and hang dry quickly. When one starts wearing out I can use it for a grease wiper to be disposed of, and still feel better about the environmental impact over using paper towels.
