Not more absorbent than paper towels, the rolls themselves have about half the amount of paper than a Bounty roll, and I don’t even want to think about how much more expensive this was. I wouldn’t buy this again

They are fine, but I ordered them because I thought they were colored because of the colored paper they were wrapped in.

Pros: I love the bamboo/no plastic/carbon net zero aspect of this product. The towels themselves are pretty standard disposable paper towel quality — I’d say perhaps slightly stronger/more absorbent but probably comparable to most towels of similar thickness, and I can dry my hands satisfactorily after washing them with a single towel. (I suspect those complaining about the thickness, etc. might be comparing them to Viva ‘cloth’ or some extra thick paper towel, which I’d put in a different category).
Cons: That said, the cost per towel of these is too high for me to make them my standard bamboo paper towel. I already buy their TP, which is also pricey for my budget, and can’t justify these as well, since I can get 12 larger bamboo paper towel rolls locally for much less money than these 6 smaller rolls at as discount grocer. The ones I get locally have plastic packaging, which I dislike, but BetterWay would need probably need to include 1.5-2x the number of towels for this same price for me to justify making them my go-to at this time.
Packaging: The company packaging is great, but Amazon fulfillment, instead of delivering them in the cardboard shipping box they came with, put that box in a much larger cardboard box and put totally pointless plastic packing pillows inside. (To Amazon) Dudes: These are paper towels! Paper towels don’t need plastic packing pillows or a completely superfluous much bigger box. This was really wasteful of Amazon. The BetterWay company should insist that these not be repackaged but be delivered solely in their original box. (Note: I did not subtract any stars for this, only because what Amazon packers do isn’t the company’s fault, but it is a secondary factor in my probably not continuing to buy these towels, even though I like them)

First off the page gives you the impression they’re different colors, but are all white and the rolls are small. They rip when pulling them off the role and are very rough.

It’s not quite as soft as some of the major brands, but it’s perfectly fine and absorbent and there’s a lot on a roll, so it lasts longer than most. The reason I bought this was to help our planet. Hey, if bamboo t.p. will alleviate cutting down trees, I’m all for it.

Tends to come in fewer amounts in the box. Rolls are smaller than regular paper towels. However they work well, keep me focused on minimizing the use of them, and if they help the planet I’m all for it! Also more expensive than regular paper towels and I’m hoping price will come down gradually.

Was a present and she loved it

I’m conflicted about these paper towels. I love the idea of sustainable products such as this, but it’s the cost that gets me. The rolls are small to begin with. They are not absorbent at all and you have to use multiple sheets to clean something up. The paper towel falls apart if you try and wet it to wipe something. So you’re using double the sheets from a small roll that cost considerably higher then a conventional paper towel. The conflict is that we want sustainable so we don’t keep cutting down forest, but at this price and the amount that is wasted makes it difficult. It’s not worth the money but it’s worth the concept. My advice is use wash cloths as much as you can and use less paper towels.

Usually use viva, however it is too expensive but
I get to feel better by my consumption of tree free and plastic free which is important to me.
