I like cold brew coffee, but it has been really hard for me to make it just right until I tried these packs. So in the bag you get six 2 ounce packs, per instructions you add two packs to 4 cups of water, let it sit in the fridge between 20 to 24 hours, then remove the packs and add two more cups of water and enjoy.
Well what I did was just add one and let it sit for 20 hours and for my taste it came out perfect to my liking. That’s what I like about this product is that you can really adjust it to the taste you like, it’s very versatile in that respect.
As for the taste, it’s definitely a medium roast, not that intense pretty smooth, I could taste the chocolate notes, not so much the vanilla, no bitterness or bad aftertaste. So if you are looking for an easy way to make a perfect cold brew coffee at home then I recommend giving this a try.

Always need cold brew in the house for my Frappes. I had a rich flavor, not bitter at all. I had to order here because Cabella’s no longer carries it. At least that is what the staff said. With shipping, the Black Rifle shop was more expensive saving $6 by ordering here, and arrived in two days.

They do not hide this fact or anything, but I think it’s important to first note that the 6 packs included are enough to make 3 pitchers of cold brew. which takes it from seeming like a fantastic deal, to a little pricey. It is the only reason I deduct a star, as I wish it stated that clearly on the packaging (“6 packs to make 3 48-ounce pitchers of cold brew!” or something like that). That said, the coffee is delicious. A nice full, strong flavor without any bitterness. It makes a really great iced coffee, and is still worth the cost, in my opinion.
Brewing is pretty straightforward. You plop two packs into a pitcher with 4 cups of filtered water and stick it in the fridge. I did 36 hours (20-24 hours is recommended), as I love me some strong coffee, and it did not disappoint. You then water it down a bit after removing the packs and drink over ice (or however you like your iced coffee). The only annoyance with brewing was how much the packs wanted to float at first. It doesn’t seem that it was detrimental to the brewing process though.
I also love that the company donates some proceeds to American veterans.

This coffee is a good, convenient way to make cold brew. You put two packs in a pitcher with cold water, wait 24 hours, and it gives you a strongly concentrated cold brew you can mix with milk or water down to taste. I don’t personally taste the hints of vanilla and cocoa, but it is a high quality coffee flavor.
The only thing I don’t love is the cost. Each bag comes with 6 packets, but the instructions say to use 2 packets each time you brew, yielding 42 oz of cold brew. You only get 3 brewings per package. I might try using a single packet and brewing for longer, to see if I can make the packets go a bit further.

I brought this along to the camping site with my siblings, who are coffee snobs, and they didn’t complain about the taste, which is a win for sure, haha (although there’s a chance they didn’t want to offend me in any way with my efforts, haha). It was easy to brew, even up in the mountains.
I’m not a regular coffee drinker, but I enjoy it from time to time (mostly when I have to, like during busy work seasons). Cold brew is undoubtedly my favorite way to drink coffee, and this was quite satisfying for me with not much bitterness and a hint of sweetness.
If you want to enjoy your cold brew coffee without much trouble on the road, this might be a great option. The convenience doesn’t necessarily have to sacrifice the taste I guess.

These cold brew packs are a game-changer for coffee lovers. The convenience of these packs makes it easy to enjoy a delicious cold brew anytime, anywhere. The taste is rich and bold, just how I like my coffee. If you’re a coffee enthusiast, you’ll love these packs. Five stars without a doubt!

I’ve only made cold brew coffee from scratch once before now, typically just putting my drip brew on ice if I want cold coffee. Or premade cold-brew coffee syrup you dilute with water. Both of which are okay, but don’t taste as good as the cold coffee you can have at your local coffee shop (Which is likely also a pour-over iced, a true cold brew if you’re lucky to have a decent shop).
These cold brew packs take all of the hassle out of it, I tried it once before with a mesh filter submersion pitcher I had. The results were weak, and it was a nightmare to clean the mesh filter out. So I never tried it again. Now all I have to do is toss two of these into my mason jar pitcher, leave it overnight or 24-hours if I want it extra spicy and out comes a perfect cup of cold brew, either enjoyed neat or with dairy/non-dairy.
These are big packets of coffee, so you’ll want to make sure your container has a wide enough opening to accept them, and retrieve them once they’re fully soaked. It takes substantially more coffee to properly extract enough with this method of brewing, which in turn means you’re going to pay more. I think if you really enjoy cold brew there’s no way around the cost. And I think this is probably my favorite way to brew it now, so I’m willing to pay it.

So excited to find a cold brew coffee I like from home! I haven’t found any other cold brews that taste good. And I absolutely LOVE that these are packaged individually!

QUICK LOOK: In this house we take our coffee, tea, and energy drinks seriously. There’s a broad range of product in here since everyone has their favorites. This particular cold brew actually got tore through pretty fast because it was EVERYONES favorite. Let’s start with the basics. The packaging is great and is a good reason why the coffee arrived fresh and ready to go. The instructions are simple..you use two packets with your water and brew it up overnight. I’ve had quite a few other cold brews, but none have really come out as well as this one. It’s the quality of the coffee used and the individual pods that I think deliver on this level. The only slight knock I have is the price is a bit on the pricier side…but the quality you get and reliable brew makes up for it. Spend a little bit more and get some tasty cold brew – you won’t regret it.
THE GOOD STUFF:
– Individually packaged keeps coffee fresh
– Brews up nicely
– VERY flavorful and rich cold brew
– One of the best home brew cold brews I’ve had (and I’ve had a LOT)
THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF:
– 6 packets included and you use 2 packets per brew – so this is 3 brews worth of coffee (not 6 by the included directions)

I have a suspicion this “medium roast” is a french roast. The resulting cold brew is smooth, a little sweet, and has very low bitterness, but no particular character. Personally I prefer it richer and I like bitterness from a dark roast (I primarily drink espresso) but this is a nice change of pace. There’s no real complexity here but it is easy and enjoyable drinking on a hot day.
I don’t have a 48 oz pitcher, so I used a deli quart container filled with 24 oz with one bag. The bag floats so I pinned it down with a ceramic Chinese soup spoon (since it was the right length and wouldn’t stain). I let it steep for 48 hours mostly because I forgot about it. But it turned out well. I didn’t dilute it, since it would get too weak. Though it’s great with ice.
No grinds lost and good extraction. So if you don’t want to or can’t get an even and right-sized grind and bag for iced coffee or don’t want to commit to it just yet it’s good way to wet your toes. Or for the convenience. You’re effectively paying $2.38/oz for the beans, roasting, grinding, and the bags.
