Great product easy to use keeps fruit and vegtables fresh longer.

I have used these for years but I recently saw its impact when I bought strawberries and the next day they showed signs of failing. I checked my blue apple and I usually write the date on it. It was time to change it. Updated the apple and my strawberries reacted and no longer spoiled.

Easy to use, have one in all fridge drawers. My produce lasts longer, and usually instead of getting bad, it will dry out some, but still usable. The ingredients are safe and when I switch them out I dump it on my plants. The paper then goes in the recycling.

This product does what it say’s it does and was very satisfied with it’s results, especially with my Banana’s, and other fresh vegetables. I didn’t purchase the apple holder, but used punched holes in a few small storage containers I had available. Highly recommended and something I’ll continue to purchase.

I have bought this item before and just ordered the Refill Kit to replace the ones I had previously. I find that this item does keep my fruits and vegetables fresher longer in the refrigerator. I highly recommend it.

We bought two Bluapples years ago and order these 8-packet refills once a year. We keep one little blue plastic apple in the vegetable bin and the other in the fruit bin of our refrigerator and change their packets at the beginning of each season. The packets inside the plastic apples absorb ethylene, which is naturally emitted by most fruits and some vegetables, and keep it from building up in your bins. (You can ripen hard peaches, pears and cantaloupe in a brown paper bag over night, but if you leave them in the bag with the trapped ethylene gas too long, they will rot. This is similar to what happens in your refrigerator bins.) You may have to change the packets more often than once a quarter if you keep apples and strawberries in the same bin. Apples emit a lot of gas, and strawberries absorb a lot. There is a sheet enclosed with the packets that lists which fruits and vegetables are gassy and which are rotters.

I’ve been using blue apple produce savers in my fridge for the past two years and I can truly say it does help extend the life of your produce. Simply pop one in your crisper drawer and it’ll extend the life by extra days or even weeks.

Loved these since I started buying them at Bed Bath & Beyond. Now I buy them online because they are cheaper. Keeps produce longer and minimizes odors.

These really work. Our produce stays fresher longer with these in our produce bins.
