I love that these are exceptionally fresh with 22 months till the best used by date! They are large and very uniform in size. I put these on a nonstick baking sheet, spray them with extra virgin olive oil, and sprinkle finally ground sea salt on them, then I roast them at 295° for 30 minutes and they come out of the toaster oven tasting better than anything that you can buy pre-roasted. After roasting I keep them in an airtight container when cooled. Don’t roast more than you can use in about a week because they will lose their fresh roasted umami flavor notes. I used to buy the pre-roasted version, which tastes okay but they are made with poor quality inflammatory cheap oils and I try to avoid them whenever possible. In my opinion extra virgin olive oil ads great additional flavor and health benefits simultaneously and the little extra preparation work is well worth it! The 40 oz value pack is a great deal, I have it on subscribe and save which makes this an even more, extra tasty value.

Taste great, great value. The only reason for 4 stars is because the expiration date is EXTREMELY hard to find. It was on the bottom of the bag, but it wasn’t printed on with ink or anything. It looks like they used something to just ever so slightly raise the bag a little bit for the expiration date. Like a stamp, with no ink. So the expiration date is the exact same color as the bag. I had to put the bag under a bright spot light to even be able to see it and was still just barely able to make it out.

Delicious sweet yet spicy flavor is a perfect combination. These are occasionally on sale and are great when you subscribe and save to them. This is a huge bag of almonds and last a long time. I love the smoky blue diamond almonds also but these are my favorite and save me from more decadent late night snacks!
