I liked that it just worked… definitely a sufficient replacement to natural eggs. BUT it does not yield the perfect crumb in my carrot cake, made it more moist than wanted so I had to be super duper gentle while handling the cake for decorating.

At the height of egg prices, I bought the egg replacer to use for my baking. I use a lot of eggs in baking throughout the days. This was easy to use. 1 egg is 2 TBSP water and 1 TBSP powder. Stir it up well, let it sit to thicken and add to your recipes. I didn’t notice any difference between using real eggs and the egg replacer and my husband couldn’t tell either. Good value, about the same price everywhere, but with the convenience of not having to go to the store. I plan to keep this on hand even after prices drop, it’s easy, convenient and no egg shells to throw away.

I have an egg allergy, which cuts out a lot of things, especially when it comes to baking. My wife found this, and we’ve been using it for years as a substitute. It tastes great, and I really have no complaints. It’s worked well in almost every recipe that we’ve tried, with the exception of maybe boxed-brownies. Those didn’t really turn out, but it doesn’t bother me because I don’t really like brownies anyway.
But as far as cakes, rolls, or basically any other dough, it’s a great substitute. Highly recommend.

After going plant based i was concerned about missing out on baked goods because of eggs and milk.
This alternative gives you the desired results and won’t leave muffins dry and dense like some vegan recipes tend to do.
Be sure to manage the moisture of your batters and try plant based fats such as coconut yogurt or avocado butter to get you closer to the original results of baked goods.

We didn’t read the entire product information, and realized it’s not an egg substitute for cooking things like scrambled eggs. We we realized this I was going to send it back & learned there was no returns.

Since I live alone sometimes eggs go bad before I can use them up. This is a standby in my pantry for when an egg is called for in a recipe.
