ORIGINAL REVIEW—-> This product WAS NOT EXPIRED, in fact it still has another 10 months before it’s expired, and yet it was still moldy! Here it is Christmas Eve and I’m wrapping gifts and something told me to check the product inside to make sure I got what I paid for. Good thing I did, but now I have no gift for the person I bought this for. $60 bucks spent on bags of mold. I do plan on asking for a replacement and will update when that time comes. Such a disappointment especially on Christmas Eve!

I got this box of deliciousness on Friday & sorted each jerky by type. I sorted them because I had stomach surgery & have been looking for some high protein snack that works well for me. This is a great snack for soldiers & post-op VBG folks.
I gave all the “spicy” ones to hubby & kept the rest for me & only had to rethink the honey pepper ones…they have a nice punch, but I’m not ready for that yet!
Hubby got the: Sweet n’ Spicy, Black Pepper, & Cajun, Honey Pepper and Spicy. I got the Barbecue, Mild, 2 types of the Teriyaki, Original and “Hung In The Smokehouse” Hickory Beef Jerky.I ate a pack of the Barbecue & it was SO delicious! I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great source low calorie snack of protein with low carbs & low fat. The only negatives for me is that it has Mono-sodium Glutamate & Sodium Nitrite. The sample pack works out wonderfully so I can try about 1 to 2 ounces a day of jerky & make a decision which ones work best for me. The cooler itself is insulated & has a zipper closure. The cooler is a plus because I can keep my snacks by my computer & my cats can’t steal them!

I purchased this for my BIL for his Cmas present and he absolutely loves the meats, has been enjoying them immensely. My only issue was the bag itself was very flimsy and cheap feeling. While it will serve the purpose for him of holding some snacks when he goes hunting or fishing I don’t suspect it would keep anything very cold and he’s not going to pack a lot in it’s size.

I bought this as a gift for my brother who loves beef jerky and coincidentally needed a new lunch tote. I bought it for him three months ago, and the lunch tote is holding up well. It’s the size that would hold a six-pack of sodas… a tad taller than some of similar variety. It has a pocket on the outside where the logo is situated. The strap is resizable. So that’s enough about the tote.
The jerky is excellent. Not too tough, not too soft, not a lot of weird bits that you end up giving to the dog. I’m not a big beef jerky fan myself, but I liked this brand. Lots of variety… from hot to mild. I didn’t get too sample much of it, because it was a gift, and my brother REALLY likes beef jerky. I was lucky to get the samples I did.
