Had to wait several days before able to cut. After a while it tasted flat. It wasn’t sweet.

This was delivered greatly looked so good cut it within hours of arriving and it was to hard to even eat tried everything to soften it but nothing helped unfortunately most of it went bad and yet still was hard

I get cantalope frequently. The last 2x I got this cantalope, it’s been really good, better than before, & much larger, these are honeydew size. You have to let them ripen for a few days. Going to keep buying these.

It sat out for 3 days before I tempted to cut it open. I was thinking about it last night but it wouldn’t have been ripe enough. No smell yet, but slight bruising on the skin. Next day my wife cut it up since we noticed just a hint of sweetness. We didn’t want to wait too long or it might rot in the heat.. really sweet, juicy. Could’ve had one more day possibly but it’s been so long since I’ve had a decent cantaloupe. Usually they’re so bland so this was a nice healthy treat…

GOOD CANTELOPE. Big Melon, takes a few days to ripen. Unfortunately 4.19 for one melon is beyond what most supermarkets charge. You cna get a cantelope for 2.49 at most markets. DOn;t know why Amazon charges 4.19. But thre quality of the Melon is very good.

Was it fresh? It has flavor. The photo may turn you off of this item but fear not. Simply scoop out the seeds and such like you would hollow out a pumpkin. I use a spoon and it works pretty well. It is a medium size spoon. Slightly bigger than say a cereal spoon but smaller than a serving spoon. A medium spoon.
