Have used in soups and salads… seems pretty OK re any toxicity from polluted waters. I wish there were a little more detail on the package re the exact seaweed types and which is which and origins of same. Some or maybe all varieties of kelp, for example, can OD you on iodine if you are not careful… so a little guidance there on how to be careful would have been welcome.

I made a flavorful salad with this tasty mix of Irish seaweed. It rehydrates well and gives you a nice amount of tasty seaweed making it a good value for the money it costs. I would recommend this product.

I really thought I was going to like this product – it’s description sounded so healthy and appealing.
Big disappointment!; First the product didn’t come with any instructions on how to use nor was there any nutritional content on the package or in an insert.
After soaking and rinsing the seaweed salad mix in tepid water, I was ready to sample it
It tasted like soap!! Absolutely horrible taste
I made the mistake of buying 2 package based on the description and content

A high quality product but some pieces of the seaweed are more edible/easy to eat and chew than others, which are quite tough and unappetizing. Nutritious but may not be to everybody’s taste.

I must admit that trying this was a stretch for me but I wanted to get more sea vegetables in my diet, yet I dislike a strong fishy taste. I followed the manufacturer’s suggestion for how to prepare and it was delicious and a new, refreshing and nutritious dish for me. I divided the package in half and got two generous servings each time, so four servings per package. I liked it well enough to re-order!

This has a little stronger seaweed taste and smell. It’s also pretty chewy. I like to add it so some other seaweed I have, just break it up a little. Would buy again.

The seaweed was Ok, but the package contained small rocks and one small shell. The rocks may have been pieces of broken shell.
