I decided to try this due to my very sensitive skin. The product itself is effective and did not aggravate my skin or my allergies. However, The jar is much smaller than expected and there is very little product in it. Removal of my make up requires a substantial amount of product and I don’t foresee this lasting very long.

This product is awesome. It is one of the only makeup removers that will actually melt away my waterproof mascara. It does have a weird smell that takes getting used to, but works very well. It is so much smaller than I thought it would be, and I actually laughed when I opened the box because it was so small. Overall great product but I wish it was bigger.

This is really great on the skin and removes make up. It is a great size for travel but for the cost I really wish I had a larger container. I was really shocked how tiny the jar was! I like that it does not have a strong scent. I do not wear make up everyday and usually use it for my trips and just use coconut oil when I am home to remove eyeliner.

After getting a free sample of Elemis cleansing balm last year, I fell in love. But the Elemis is extremely expensive. I got the ELF brand and it was great. But then I saw that Cerave had this product, and because their other products are great, I thought I would try it. And it does work. No problem with that.
The issue is the smell. It has a strong, medicinal smell that I do not like on my face. Because of that, I will not get this product again.

There’s literally no smell & it takes everything off, it feels oily on application but it rinses off easy & leaves no residue on your skin. Actually feels moisturizing,definitely switch to this as my daily remover.

I’m a double cleansing girlie so I’ve tried a few of these cleansing balms, the first is the ever expensive yet amazing ele-mis… that one is prolly my fav but I cannot justify the crazy price point,.. I’ve also tried the Juno one and honestly wasn’t my fav… I didn’t really care for the very obnoxious citrusy smell and I felt like it didn’t work quite as well as I wanted it to… I use Cerave products a lot so I figured I’d try their cleansing balm when I was searching for a new one…when I received it I was instantly disappointed with the size.. it’s suuuuuper tiny… I double cleanse every night so I feel like I’m going to run thru this little thing fast… wish they offered a bigger option for a couple dollars more…. But as far as the product itself I think it works great, doesn’t irritate my eyes, gets stubborn makeup off in a pinch and the smell is pleasant and light… to me it smells almost earthy like a very very faint grass/pine smell 🤷🏼♀️… either way I like the product.., just wish it was bigger!!

This product comes in a very small case, I wish the size was bigger. However, it does a very good job at getting off all your makeup! I wear pretty heavy makeup: foundation, concealer, powder, blush, etc. I use only a dime sized amount and rub it all over my face. I wash it off with water. It works great! You only have to use a small amount to get all the makeup off your face. I will definitely buy this again!

To be fair, this is the first time I’ve used makeup cleansing balm so I can’t compare it to any other products. However, I thought it would be….better. First, the container is very small for the price. Secondly, you have to use a lot more than it says to use on the directions. It feels extremely greasy, but it does wash off easily. However, it doesn’t remove all of the makeup. Maybe it’s only supposed to remove most of it? I’m not sure, but after using this product, washing the product off my face, and using a white towel to wipe my face, there is makeup all over the towel. My face does feel good afterwards, so it doesn’t dry my face out. Thankfully I don’t wear makeup every day and I don’t wear a lot of makeup, so this should last me maybe a month or two. I probably will try something else next.

I love this balm. It’s so gentle and I just rub it in with my fingertips. No messing with cotton balls or an endless cycle of bamboo pads or washcloths. Waterproof mascaras take a little extra care to gently massage the roots of my lashes and only the most intense lip stains (which aren’t on the surface to BE removed) have withstood this. It’s so gentle and my skin’s so soft after I use this and then whatever water-based cleanser I use. Huge fan.
