I’m just going to say it how it is, this is amazing. Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleanser beats other brands in its price, size, and prize-to-performance. First, the price, you are paying $12-13 for a big bottle. If you’ve been involved with skin-care for a while, you know how shocking the size this thing is compared to nearly all other products. Second, you’d think due to its price and size the quality of the actual cleanser has to be what is lacking, however that is incorrect. This gentle cleanser does a great job making your face a blank canvas and cleansing your skin. It works great for AM and PM routines, and saves you money because you don’t have to buy multiple cleansers, as this one does it all. If you are frugal like me and have dry to normal or sensitive skin, there is no reason not to be using this product.

My dermatologist, who sells all brands of high end products in her clinic, recommended this cleanser, as the best one for her patients to use. When I started using it, it is hands-down, by far the best facial cleanser I have ever used!! It is light and removes everything to wear. My serums absorb better and into my skin, leaving it much brighter and clear!
She recommended getting the cleansing cloth to at least use at night if I didn’t have time to wash my face. Those have helped tremendously as well! I even keep a pump of this in my shower, by my bathtub, and sink! It’s awesome!!
Note: You may want to go over your face twice because it is so light.

I have dry skin and am constantly looking for products that are gentle without stripping my skin of it’s natural oils. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry after use. It’s lightweight and has a smooth lotion-like consistency. If you are used to sudsy cleansers, this one does not foam, can be used with or without water, and rinses off easily. I like that it is fragrance-free. Overall, it is a mild and effective cleanser that helps me maintain the moisture in my skin.

I’m so used to foaming face wash that this initially put me off as it doesn’t foam even a little, BUT it worked! Because of the formula it leaves your face moisturized which helped since I’ve been struggling with extreme dry red patches. They were gone overnight! I will say that skipping a night brought them back so consistency is key but that’s standard with most skin care.

This is perfect if you have damaged your skin barrier . It cleanses very light without stripping your skins moisture and or drying out your skin.. it is great product to wash your face if it is free of makeup . Otherwise if your looking for a great cleanser this is not for you . My skin was left not clean and my pores were dirty after washing .

I use one soap for my body and then this soap for my head it’s a lot less strong then the regular soap and doesn’t dry my face and goatee out and I love the smell
