I bought this as an all natural skin oil. I also use apricot and olive oil on my incredibly dry skin. I wanted this for specific targets: scarring from an especially potent mosquito bite, and for cracking in the corners of my mouth due to overuse of a steroidal lip balm and petroleum-based lip products. I will say this, like other reviewers have mentioned, the bottling of this product is a red hot mess. The consistency of the oil is disgusting. It’s super thick and gummy. Honestly though, it’s not much different than if you punctured a vitamin E capsule with a needle and squeezed it out on your finger, except it’s a bit thicker and you don’t have to hunt around for a needle. Also note, if you put it on your mouth, the taste is really gross. My workaround for the messy solution is to leave the dropper in the bottle, and just wipe off what I need from the stem of the dropper with clean hands. Because it’s messy, and the taste is really unpleasant, I docked this product one star. But because it works out incredibly well, I opted for four stars rather than three. If you don’t mind the consistency, the mess and the not so good taste, I highly recommend this product. It gets the job done extremely well.

I used it as a moisturizer and protection for my skin. After a week of using it , I noticed a difference. Skin feels smooth and tone looks more even.

My main goal was to find a vitamin e that is not synthetically made. Alpha-tocopherol is the natural one and the synthetic will have a ‘dl’ in the front of it, dl-alpha tocopherol or with a ‘y’ in tocopheryl Alpha-tocopheryl acetate (ATA). Those are synthetic. So, if you want a natural form of vitamin e, which is better for you and more absorbable, this is a great brand all around. Great price too. It is a bit thick, but that’s vitamin e and the smell is not great, however that dissipates quickly. If you put it on your face, I mix a few drops with another carrier oil such as almond or jojoba to help it spread over smoothly. Overall, this is the best I’ve found, even tho the scent isn’t great or super spreadable on its on, I still give it 5 stars.

As I said, in my other reviews of all of the vitamins that I purchased or oil that I purchased. I purchased because I needed to make my own hair grease and this was some of it one of the ingredients that I needed. I used to buy a hair grease years ago and it did well for my hair. I actually have long hair and have had long hair all of my life, I noticed that my hair started breaking off and I tried to find the hair grease that I had used for so many years but the company had went out of business. So I found a jar of the hair grease online which someone was selling for $89 on eBay , I just so happen to be smart enough to read the ingredients on the product. I then purchased all the ingredients that I need to actually make the hair grease myself, and this was one of the products that I needed. So I made my hair grease the breakage, and the falling out has gone to a minimum And I think my hair is back on the mend. I have purchased this twice already, so this is a good product. I don’t know what you would use it for but I use it to make hair grease.

Yes, it has kind o a fishy smell but I got over that right away…can’t believe some reviewers are making such a big deal over that! And when it goes on your skin, initially it’s kind of sticky, but it warms up quickly & just feels silky & fabulous. I often use it as a very soothing night cream all by itself, always making sure to cover the under eye area, my eyebrows, & my lips. My husband of 30 years actually mentioned that my skin looked nice! And I use it when I make my vitamin c/hyaluronic acid serum too. I’ve added it to my leave-in conditioner with great results. I’m glad I bought the 4oz bottle! I plan on trying it with soap-making too.

So I actually hated this product right off the bat because it was sticky/tacky/strong odor/couldn’t wash it off my hands, BUT then I found it had a strange benefit. It helped to control the oil on my face BIG time. Kinda worked like a primer and I was way less shiny than normal. Still trying to figure how how to best use it with my make up, but so far if I just use a tiny bit in the T-zone and blend out then it’s kinda awesome. Very interesting.

I am so sorry I did not read the reviews before using this vitamin e oil. I bought it to add vitamin e oil essential oil formulations, as it can increase the shelf life and reduce spoilage. It also can add many benefits of vitamin e oil for skin and hair care.
Note: I am sure this is perfectly good for direct skin applications by itself that you do not blend with essential oils, etc. I would not add this to blends and formulations you are making for a desired scent however, unless you want your formulation to have an odd odor or smell which can ruin your creation!
I bought this to use in some shea butter body butters and then for vanilla infused oils that I was going to give as gifts. I thought since this was a good brand it would be alright, and the container was well sealed, and I added it to my vanilla infused oils, a 16 oz formulation with vanilla beans in other carrier oils. The next day when I went to check it, I found a bad smell that had ruined the formulations. I had made 5 large 16 oz bottles with vanilla beans in carrier oil and I had to throw them all away! You cannot give a gift that smells bad, once the infused oil formulation is ruined by the introduction of a bad product, it is ruined! I wasted all the time and money… my infused oil smelt fine before I added this, this smelly vitamin e oil which ruined the formulation!
I was wondering what has happed to all of my vanilla infusions, why has the smell gone bad, and began to investigate to find out the culprit. I finally read the reviews on this Cliganic vitamin e oil, and others had also complained about the bad smell.
I wish I had read the customer reviews before.
Always read reviews first, look them up for any reviews that say it has a bad smell, and always smell the container before adding to any formulations!

Update: I returned the bottle with the foul odor and received a replacement. The new bottle does not have the same offensive smell. The last bottle must have been rancid. This oil really helps the dry skin on my face.
I bought this oil in January 2023 and loved it. It really helped the dry skin and redness on my cheeks. It did not have a foul odor. I bought it again in March 2023. The odor on the second bottle is so offensive I feel the urge to vomit when I open the bottle. I definitely cannot use it on my face near my nose.

This is pure vitamin E oil with an easy-to-use dropper. The quality is good and the dark glass container arrived unbroken. The dropper provides good control so I only add enough for the application I need the oil for. I highly recommend this brand both for quality of oil and good packaging.
