This product is the equivalent of crab meat sawdust! Ain’t nothing fancy about this and totally misleading.
Cindi Van Kirk –
I haven’t done too much with it yet except make cold dibs but it’s excellent in that crab taste and smell!!
BIKER TRASH –
Flavorless mush, buy the crab claw meat instead! "Miller’s Select" is EXCELLENT!
Kman –
Ground to a fine dust like, terrible and awful. Stay far away! Flavor is sickening, can suggests to rinse to “improve flavor” . Even the cats won’t eat it. Not edible.
Barbara Prchal –
horrible texture and horrible tasting
fubrman –
has gristle in it, more suitable for mixing into crab Bisquick or soup !!!!!!
but tolerable !!!

This product was truly awful. It looked like sludge, but we thought it might work in a dip. We ended up having to throw the whole thing away. No idea what we’re going to use the rest of the cans for; will likely offer them to neighborhood pet owners.

I made mini crab cakes and they were excellent .

Our family keeps a closet of canned food for emergency situations. We always try a couple to figure out how to use it best before a necessity arrives. I was surprised upon opening this can that it was not only minced it was ground into Oblivion. Not quite Pate but definitely not your normal mince. I made a chip dip with it that was pretty good but I doubt if it would be a good lunch meat. Probably better in a soup with celery Etc. Seems to be a good product and has a good shelf life. Just wanted to warn you there’s nothing in the can you can sink your teeth into LOL but I’ll still buy more in the future for emergency food
