These dried pineapple slices are very thin, about 1/16” or thinner. They are sweet, yummy, and chewy. To bite a piece off of a slice, you need to tear it with your teeth. They are pretty, resembling sand dollars, but the edges are curly. Some parts of the edges have brown or green, which is where the outside of the pineapple wasn’t 100% removed, but those spots are very small and are edible. My bag has about 80 slices, so each slice would have about 10 calories. These could be used for garnish or cooking as well as eating plain.

Hey snackers and health buffs! Just got my taste buds on these Dried Pineapple Slices, dehydrated, no sugar added, and it’s like a bite of sunshine. These aren’t your ordinary dried fruit; they’re like a tropical escape in every crunch.
The no sugar added part? That’s the real deal. You get all the natural sweetness of pineapple without that sugar overload. It’s like Mother Nature’s candy, guilt-free and all.
Texture-wise, these slices are spot on. They’ve got that perfect balance of chewy and crisp. It’s like they’ve been zapped to maintain that ideal snackable texture.
The flavor is where it really pops. Rich, tangy, with that signature pineapple zing. It’s like a flavor fiesta in your mouth, no artificial stuff needed.
These slices are super versatile too. Throw them in your cereal, mix them in a trail mix, or just munch them straight out of the bag. It’s like a quick trip to the tropics, no matter how you slice it.
And the convenience? Top-notch. They come in a resealable bag, so they stay fresh and crunchy. It’s like having a go-to snack ready whenever you need a fruity fix.

There isn’t much to say about these. They’re dried pineapples but a little TOO dry. I buy dried fruits all the time and the good ones still have some moisture in them. Package was a little stinky when you opened it (but not necessarily in a bad way). There’s no added sugar and they taste alright. Just wish they were a little more juicy.

I was a little surprised to see that they were actual whole slices of pineapple, core and all. Usually you get rings. It’s nice to see the whole fruit used and even the core was edible. These are a bit crispy vs chewy like the dried fruit. There was a lot more that expected so I appreciate that value. The only downside I would rate is the packaging. It’s a little difficult to reseal once opened since it’s an awkward shape. Other than that this is a great product and good to have on hand in your emergency food storage.

I’d give them 5 stars if they were cored and trimmed properly. As it is, all of the slices have their core & a decent amount of rind.
I tried snacking on these plain but they’re just not great by themselves. In a smoothie they take a minute to hydrate (which is to be expected), and they do work, but the rind & core pieces are tougher and don’t blend down well. So even with extra blending time my smoothie just has a bunch of harder bits in it. I guess I could core them manually and cut off the edge pieces, but that would just be too much work for something that was supposed to be a shortcut.

Personally it’s too dry for me and scratchy in the mouth which doesn’t make a good mouth feel. Maybe if the pineapple wasn’t cut so thin but thicker it wouldn’t be as scratchy in the mouth. If you rehydrate it in water it does plump up but the flavor is lost in the pineapple itself and is instead transferred to the water. As the water tastes like sweet pineapple juice you can use it to make a light and naturally sweet pineapple juice or warm it up to make tea. You will need to strain the pineapple water first though if you want it to look clean as there are small bits and pieces of it left in the water which are not appetizing to look at.

The pineapple slices are dried and come in a very nice, heavy duty resealable bag. Although they have been dried they are slightly bendable so they are not ‘crisp’. I saw some of the reviews mention eating them and I am not sure the intent is that these are meant to be eaten as is, but instead, they are edible once hydrated. They work great as garnishes in cocktails, and are ideal for infusing water (or even tea). The slices are approx. 3” in diameter. Great product idea that can be used in many different ways! I store the opened bag in the refrigerator to help preserve the freshness.

I really like pineapple and was excited to try these. They do resemble flowers, which was more obvious to me when I saw them in person than it was from the listing. You receive a nice amount of the slices, so I think it’s a good value. The taste is sort of like a pineapple fruit roll-up. They are sweet and chewy. I liked it more than I thought I would. I am struggling to come up with a way to use these, other than as a snack. I was a little hesitant to try it because they just don’t look appetizing. They are great for anyone who loves pineapple and would be great to send to students and service members. These would also be good for camping. I like them, but if there are other snacks around, these would not be my first choice.

It’s mini dried pineapple… It smells a bit candied but not bad. Can be added to any beverages but with it being dried that may effect the taste. Would be great with hot teas to mix up some flavors. Can be ate but has a bit of a tang to it and a lot of chewyness lol. The package size of nearly 9 ounces doesn’t seem like a lot but it is easily 100 slices, so you get your monies worth if you don’t want to do the work of dehydration.

A mild flavor would have been ok but these had no flavor at all.
