when i open the package i was hit with a strong ammonia smell which means they have gone bad

The pasted-on label says “Louisiana Shrimp” but I don’t believe a word of it. The rest of the package is fully Chinese, which I didn’t want. Never again.

I used this for gumbo. Not too fishy. Not too salty. Does not expand in size when added into the stew. A few annoying shells here and there but overall decent flavor.
