Duke’s Original Recipe Smoked Shorty Sausages are a premium smoked meat snack crafted with real, whole ingredients and smoked meats. These classic meat snacks have an authentic, old-world flavor. The sausage snacks are made with a blend of classic spices, chopped green Italian parsley, a touch of roasted garlic, and fresh, never frozen pork raised with no hormones added to give you a snack where you can really taste the difference (federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones in pork). Each serving has 7 grams of protein. Not only are these snack sticks made with real ingredients, but they are also gluten free and slow dried with no nitrites added (except for those naturally occurring in sea salt and celery powder). Duke’s Original Recipe Smoked Shorty Sausages are also keto friendly (7g of protein, 1g net carbs [1g total carbs minus 0g dietary fiber], and 1g added sugar per serving) and fit a low carb lifestyle (1g net carbs per serving [1g total carbs minus 0g dietary fiber]).

In 2021 i was on auto buy for $29 a case which is 8 5oz bags. Now they are $50 a case. No longer worth it to buy at these prices

The price of these sticks has almost doubled since I started buying them a year ago, and they’ve stopped tasting as good as cost goes up. The other problem with them I’ve encountered is the expiration dates on them are getting shorter and shorter. I didn’t check the date on the box I received in mid April and late July and now when I went to grab a bag I notice that both boxes are expired. Great, now I have to throw away $60 worth of meat. Not going to order these again.

I used to get these at Costco but haven’t been able to lately. They’re easy, convenient, support my dietary needs, and my kiddo even loves them as a high protein snack. I highly recommend.

Had a package of Original Recipe sausages completely covered in mold. Amazon replaced it. Otherwise tasted good, but I’m deducting a star for that disgusting mold.

I love how these are nitrate free. They are so expensive in the store. I love this bulk option.

Man, my wife and I have been hooked on these for the past few months. We recently started a keto diet and would order the Tillamook brand as we heard they were really good. After a few packs we decided to try something new which led us to Duke’s. Between the two, we prefer the Duke’s brand smoked sausages though they are a little more expensive. Each stick is slightly larger and more juicy compared to Tillamook and they have more keto friendly flavors to choose from. We like them both honestly but we prefer Duke’s.

These are perfect for a Keto snack. Smoky flavor. One wish is I would like a beef alternative versus the pork.

We have been getting a box of 8 of the original’s for well over a year. This time we opened the box (and there is 2 stickers on the top of the box put on by Dukes, so you know they packed them) and there were only 7 packs inside instead of 8. I don’t want to return them, as we will eat the rest, but we are rather disappointed.
