I had never used a makeup removing balm or oil before and my dry skin was SO happy I tried this. I used to just do makeup wipes and I’m like omg the damage I probably did just using those stupid things, I need something different. My dry skin is loving this! Also loving the eye cream but haven’t tried the rest of the line… Yet lol I do wish the spatula could fit inside the container though. I end up using the back of my finger instead so it’s a waste of plastic in my opinion

I’ve been wanting to try this cleansing balm for a long time and finally ordered it last night ( it arrived by 8:30 am this morning!). I’m a woman of a certain age, wear waterproof makeup, and have dry skin so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m not easily impressed with facial products. I used just a little glob on my forefinger and it cleansed my entire face, removing every speck of makeup including transfer proof foundation, waterproof mascara, liner, and brow pencil along with brow glue, primer, glow drops, contour, blush, concealer, bronzer, eyeshadow, and highlighter. Every. Speck. Gone. In minutes and with one nickel-sized dab! A little goes a loooong way. It instantly melted away. I gently massaged it into my face for just a few minutes and my makeup completely dissolved. It feels rich, creamy, luxurious, and moisturizing but wiped off so gently and easily without leaving a greasy residue. My face felt incredibly soft and hydrated afterward. I used my normal cream cleanser after for a double cleanse and rinsed with warm water and my face feels so clean, baby soft, and incredibly hydrated. I only needed a very light moisturizer to finish it off and my face looks glowing and healthy which is pretty amazing for an over 50 face. This is the Holy Grail of makeup removal that behaves like skincare and I’ll never be without it again. This product is worth three times the price and out performs any other product I’ve ever used. I thought this would be something very gimmicky like most things I’m influenced to buy but I’m very happy I purchased this. It melts most of my makeup immediately with barely any rubbing. The only thing it doesn’t remove immediately is my Milani tubing mascara. Cream concealer, powder, eyebrow ink, eyeliner, glitter, lash glue, etc all comes off easily. My skin feels very soft and not dry at all once I’m done. There’s no crazy smells if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing and I would recommend to anyone wanting a quick way to get a full face off at the end of the day.

Elf has really stepped up their game lately! I was using Farmacy make up melt and I did love it, but it is very expensive. I decided to try the Elf brand because of the price and it’s the exact same thing! For $11, you can’t go wrong with this product. I wear waterproof mascara and this makes removing it super easy! My face feels super clean and hydrated after using this product. The product last for a good amount of time too. It comes with a little spatula to scoop the product out and put it on your face, so hands are contaminating the product. There is not much of a scent to it and is good for sensitive skin. I have had no breakouts while using this product. I am on my second jar and will continue to buy this product over the more expensive make up melt balms.

Melts all makeup quickly. Works on eye makeup well and with no rubbing, unlike eye remover liquids. Does not sting my eyes. You can wash it off with enough water in the shower; if you do not use enough water, it does leave a residue and you may need a second cleanser to get rid of that. Which in turn may leave its own, even if less noticeable, residue, so just use enough water to begin with.

removed all your makeup so easily. just wipe with wet towel after and it all comes off. works just as well as high end. smells good and moisturizes your skin too doesn’t feel stripped

This makeup remover is great! It easily gets rid of all my makeup, even the tough stuff. After using it, my skin feels clean and not greasy. It smells nice too! The only thing is, I have to use a bit more of it than I thought I would. But overall, it’s a great makeup remover that I’m sticking with.

I absolutely love this product and have it on subscription. It easily melts any makeup, including waterproof mascara, and leaves the skin soft and hydrated, but not greasy. I haven’t used the more expensive brand but I can’t imagine I would like it any more.
