Product Description Earthbound Farm Organic Spring mix….. Amazon.com Earthbound Farm16-ounce ClamshellOrganic Spring MixA delicious blend of mild and bold baby greens, the crop that started it all at Earthbound Farm.Spring Mix (or mesclun) is a popular salad mix of assorted tender leaves. At Earthbound Farm, baby lettuces were some of our first crops back when we started farming organically over 25 years ago. We sold our fresh organic baby greens to friends and neighbors, then to local chefs in Carmel and Monterey, CA, who loved the flavor and texture of the tender little leaves. Later we became the first company to launch fresh, pre-washed organic salad greens for retail sale, and we helped start a salad revolution.Although the ingredients in our mix may vary seasonally, the blend usually contains baby leaves of red and green romaine and oak leaf lettuces, lollo rosa and tango lettuces, red and green chard, mizuna, arugula, frisée and radicchio. The assortment offers a potpourri of appealing colors and shapes, with leaves ranging from emerald green to burgundy, and textures varying from tender to crisp, smooth to ruffled. All of our Spring Mix salad blends have a perfect balance of sweet, peppery, and bitter flavors for enticing salads with delicious depth and complexity.Try Earthbound Farm Organic Spring Mix in this and other salads:Mixed Green Salad with Mango-Ginger VinaigretteIngredients1/4 cup fresh Earthbound Farm Organic Mango cubes1 teaspoon minced shallot2 teaspoons Earthbound Farm Crushed Fresh Ginger Organic Purée (or grated fresh ginger)1 lime (zest)2 tablespoons fresh lime juice1 tablespoon unseasoned rice vinegar3 tablespoons mango nectar1/8 teaspoon wasabi powder1/8 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon Sugar (or honey)1/4 cup olive oil5 ounces Earthbound Farm Organic Baby Romaine (or Spring Mix, or your favorite greens)1/4 cup chopped macadamia nutsfresh mango slices2 tablespoons finely minced crystallized gingerDirections:Combine all dressing ingredients except the oil in blender and purée until smooth. Received it on Monday and opened it on Weds and it was perfectly fresh, not any brown or wilted leaves in sight. I would definitely purchase again. If wish more varieties of this brand were offered here.

Good combination of lettuces. When Fresh shops for >3 days Use By Dates and sends this product in “fresh” condition, it makes for a great salad. It’s a real carp-shoot, that which you will receive, when shopping through Amz Fresh Delivery.

I love how large the container is, you get a lot of greens! Pro tip: put a paper towel in under the lid to keep them from getting soggy too fast.

Kinda hard to mess up salad greens. Fresh and lasts a while in the fridge.

It was the old packaging until last week, but the packaging I received this week was a new packaging with adhesive on the rim. The weight remains the same, but the overall volume appears to be reduced. If the space in the packaging is reduced and the contents are more pressurized than before, will they last as long as before?

For 2 people, this might be too much of a good thing. But it’s a problem that I want to have every week because I keep reordering this all the time. Fresh and great taste with the variety of salad mix. Love the taste of young leaves over older and thicker salad greens. Great quality. Love how tight that these boxes are packed so I get great value for the money.

I buy this salad makes all the time in the store and was reluctant to buy it from a delivery site. It arrived okay and they put some cold pack around it it was not wilted and lasted as long as any of the ones I bought in the store.
