First of all-where have these been all my life?! I’ve had dried mulberries from other brands and they don’t even come close to or are able to be compared to these little dried gems of deliciousness. The Eastanbul Store has really come out with such an amazing product.
The texture is soft but firm with some subtle crunch. As you chew the mulberry, you start to have this bubble gum style chewy texture that’s rich in flavor (the flavors remind me of flavors like bubble gum, dark/golden raisins, rum, and molasses) and just melts in your mouth. They’re so darn good that I could easily eat half of the bag in one seating and would easily eat them as a dessert.
Aside from taste, they’d be great for sweet or savory dishes/condiments. I like that the mulberries are sun dried, come in a resealable bag, and have no added sugar. Overall, I will be recommending this product to others and I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

Never tried mulberries before. They were far sweeter than I was expecting with a slightly chewy texture. A few of the mulberries had stems on it. Comes in a resealable bag.

Hello friends, I selected this package of Estanbul Sun dried white mulberries for cooking.
I have a large container of local organic dried mulberries I use for cooking. I thought it would try these ones as they are white. There is in fact a huge difference between the white and the black. The white or lighter in flavor and are more tart. The black tastes much like an aged wine with a slight fruity tinge. Means white mulberries are an off white color from being dried. I added them to some nuts to top on yogurt. It was pretty good on peach yogurt. I plan to add them to stuffing for Thanksgiving. The lighter colo r will hide the fact that there is a berry amid the savory dish. Fun find!.

I’ve never tried white Mulberries before, and these are amazingly delicious. I had to make myself stop eating them. They’re sweet without any tartness, which is surprising since there’s no added sugar. As with any fruit, there’s still a fair amount of natural sugar, but as an occasional snack, these are great.
They’re sun dried with a soft chewy texture. I’m not sure what happens during the drying process, but there are no hard seeds. They have a mild, honey-like flavor and sweetness. I adore them as a snack right out of the package, but they would also be great on salads, in oatmeal, smoothies, trail mix, or added to baked goods. I may even try adding them to my loose leaf tea as I brew it to add a touch of sweetness.
They were packaged an 10/01/2023 and the freshness is obvious. The best use by date is 10/10/2023 giving them a 2 year expiration date, but they won’t have a chance of lasting that long.
I appreciate that they’re non-GMO, with no added coloring, additives, or sugar.
At $7.49 for a 14.5 oz bag, I find them to be a good value, especially considering the gourmet quality of these berries, and I’ll definitely be buying more when these are gone.
I’ve found Eastanbul to be a wonderful company for dried fruits.
As a side note, these Eastanbul Dried White Mulberries are grown and packaged in Turkey.

Always on the look out for unique things to eat and snack/bake on/with, these dried mulberries do the trick nicely. I tried them straight out of the bag. They are chewy and tasty. Some of the stems are still on them but I think they don’t do any harm. Remove them if you want to.
Then, I tried a few in some boiling water to hydrate them. Now, they are a whole new taste profile. I am thinking of all the things I can use these in. I’m thinking quick breads, cookies, pies. Fold a few into my yogurt or cottage cheese. I think they would be really tasty sandwiched into a grilled cheese sandwich.
Don’t judge.
They mulberries beg for the creative side of you. Take your dining and snacking to a whole new level and get a bag of these. They won’t last long. I don’t think mine will!

I’ve had regular (black) mulberries before and they are good while not as sweet as other berries. These white mulberries have a great taste – kind of like a raisin but sweeter. The dried crunchy texture is also very good and would be excellent to mix in with other dried nuts and fruits. Many of the berries still had stems attached but they are dried enough and crunchy so you can just eat them. If you are a little more OCD you can easily pick them off which will definitely make your bag last much longer! The entire bag is a good value for the cost.

I love dried white mulberries and have tried many brands over the years, and these are among the best I’ve tried. These are very fresh and are high quality with large, well-shaped berries, not broken nor discolored. Dried, they have a honey/molasses taste but are not overly sweet. They are chewy with just a little crunch. Rehydrated, they are sweet with an added slight tartness that uplevels plain oatmeal and yogurt. The bag has a delightful vanilla-ish scent. There are no added ingredients—it’s just sundried mulberries. White mulberries are called a superfood and are high in flavonoids, anthocyanins, and resveratrol. They are a good source of iron. I took a picture of the berries next to a quarter for size reference.

Don’t know that I’ve had Mulberries before but these freeze dried ones don’t have a lot of taste. They’re not bad and will be good, I think, with something else, like on top of cereal, but as a snack right out of the bag, I’d prefer something else.

Somehow between ordering these, and receiving the bag, then opening it – at no point did I realize that these are WHITE mulberries! I didn’t even know such a thing existed! That being said, they taste as I would imagine dried regular color mulberries would. They are one of the sweetest berries I know of – and these are a GREAT addition to overnight oats or yogurt or a warm bowl of oatmeal!

I have never had white mulberries before and I dont think I will get them again. These were very bitter and I did not enjoy them. There were also lots of the berries that still had their stems on them. I dont want to have to have to go through the bag plucking the stems off of a good portion of the berries. The bag is resealable which is nice, but I dont think I will be going back in to have any more.
