I am using this phone stand to copy my deteriorating photo albums. It is perfect for the process, allowing me to adjust my phone to the correct angle and holding it steady.

The item itself works great- but the box was full of dried corn and glass.

Just want I needed. I love that I can adjust to any height and angle and it doesn’t tip over. Makes recording and using my projector so much easier!!

We use it to make tabletop videos with a phone, and for that it works very well. The screw that holds the phone holder is plastic however, I was hoping it was all metal. That makes me wonder how long it will last.

I always struggle trying to take overhead photos/videos, and some of the stands out there are so complicated, but this one is as simple as can be. Once set up, you can adjust the height, then you can adjust the angle of the arm as well as the phone holder itself. The arm swings out of the way too very easily. The base is weighted, so it will be heavy enough to hold your phone without tipping over.
Even thought assembly is super easy, I did initially struggle with putting the pole into the base – do yourself a favor and hold the staff upside down and place the base on it carefully and make sure it inserts properly so then you can screw in the nut. Trying to do this horizontally was futile for me and I should have known better.
Taking pictures of things on my table was a breeze since I had a free hand and easy adjustments to make!
While you can adjust the height and tighten it, I wish there were adjustments that you can manually tighten at the folding joint, and also at the phone holder. These are already only friction tight but it’s not wobbly or loose. I wonder if it would become loose over time. The only minor item that is not the fault of this device is perhaps a ring light might not be a bad idea but you can easily bring your own lighting or attach one. Come to think of it, it’s better than way: why saddle this simple, yet effective stand with something you can provide on your own and better?

I purchased this to provide myself with a third hand when doing overhead photography of archival materials. This is sturdy and stable. If this breaks, I would purchase another immediately. I don’t think it will because I’m not abusing it and it is very well made. It extends high enough that I can photograph entire newspaper pages. Highly recommend this over the free stuff some archives have on hand for researchers.

This is absolutely my favorite device for holding my iphone when I am recording overhead shots. The stand is sturdy, super flexible, very high quality design, and never droops. Plus, it stands on the desk and does not need to be clamped to anything. Oh, and it is portable.
I use it to video when I am doing art tutorials and demonstrations. The portable-ness of this device has enabled me to leave my desk (where I have a clamped on device) and now I can do my videos anywhere (even at a picnic table in the park). Highly recommended! VERY satisfied!

Bought this to use with my iPhone to scan old photographs from aBlume into Photomyne. This stand is very sturdy and is made of higher quality materials. The only issue is if you need to get your phone down lower, where it’s closer to the photograph, once it gets down to a certain point the phone holder portion hits the arm and won’t allow it to adjust any further. If needing to get your phone down closer to a photograph to capture a good quality pic of it this stand doesn’t do so well for this. If you don’t need to get down too close to a photograph, this stand is sturdy and works perfectly otherwise. If looking to use this stand with Photomyne, I’d recommend paying the extra money and going with the actual Photomyne stand and holder.

Absolutely amazing!! It is perfect. It will work great for helping me film my content. It has a nice weight and easy to put together.

I dont write alot of reviews unless a product wows me. This did. Sturdy, fully functional and exactly what I needed to film close up work I make videos for on Youtube (circuit boards) and allow me to do the work and not be in the way. 6 Stars…:-)
