I ordered the unsweetened walnut milk. The quality seems to be excellent. The drawback of good quality and no stabilizers is that it will separate in your coffee but I prefer that to chemicals. It’s usually quite difficult to find a plant based milk without added gums and emulsifiers. The walnut flavor is very subtle. If you know it is walnut you can test it but I’m not sure if I had recognized it in a blind test. Walnuts are very healthy so this is a great choice as your standard plant based milk. Unfortunately, the price point is a little too high for me.

My history with milk has always been a love-hate relationship. I love it–it hates me. Creates serious digestive issues for me. I have tried all of the substitutes–almond, soy, coconut, and lastly, oat milk, but none of them solved the problem. Oat milk was my last endeavor, and over time, it cause a swelling of my stomach (which came on gradually), so I didn’t notice it until it was pretty extended. I also hated ingesting all of those artificial gums and additives. I searched on Amazon and found Elmhurst milked cashews and thought it might be worth the try. WOW! It’s great! Over the past two months the swelling in my stomach has gone down and I have no side effects. There are no artificial additives or gums. There’s only five ingredients which means it’s so much better for you. Kudos to Elmhurst. They have a loyal customer from now on. Couldn’t recommend it more!

This product tastes great. The problem is how it is packaged. They just throw it in a box without any padding or protection. Half the time I order this, the delivery gets cancelled and the product is listed as “undeliverable.” Then I have to request a refund, because they don’t just automatically give it to me. (If you fail to deliver a product I purchased from you, you should just give me a refund without me having to seek it out.)
When I actually DO get the product, it’s in a sorry beaten up state. This is unacceptable. It is a minor cost to pack your products properly. I am absolutely sure that the business you are losing by packing the product this way is costing you way more than it would to just do it properly.
I’ll give it one more shot, because I really like the taste, but unfortunately I think I’ll have to find a new brand.

I’ve tried many non dairy milks, this is the cleanest and best tasting

Elmhurst clearly has the highest quality commercial nut milks out there right now – so far I have tried the Hazelnut, Cashew, and Walnut milks. They are smooth and creamy, no added sugar, no added gums or fillers, non-GMO, vegan, and gluten-free. Prior to discovering these I was buying Tempt or Pacific Foods or Manitoba brand. I had liked the Tempt Unsweetened nut milks, but Tempt changed their formula for the worse and now they are like soupy water. I miss the original version but has to find something better.
I buy and use the Hazelnut milk the most. The Pacific Foods brand seems to offer the only other Hazelnut milk and while it is much cheaper, it is sub-par and basically flavored water. Unfortunately buying the Elmhurst in this 6-pack is expensive. Even Whole Foods has it for less at $5.99 per carton. With the 6 pack you are paying a whopping $7.49 per carton.
If I need a 6 pack really fast though I bite the bullet and pay the extra money rather than try to get a WF delivery which has it’s own issues. If you have the money to spend, you cannot do better than Elmhurst unless you make your own. I do wish the 6-pack price were not so high though, it will be out of reach for many people and that is unfortunate and I hope they can find a way to lower the price.

We LOVE this product. It is great with coffee and froths really well. I like how pure Elmhurst is with no seed oils added.

I like this brand. It has only water and nuts. The only issue I have is that it is not thoroughly strained. I prefer a brand with no gums which are bad for your gut bacteria and this is the only brand I can find that doesn’t have it. I feel the cost is way too high but I only use it to have on hand when I forget to soak the nuts for my own nut milk as I do regularly. I see a lot of people complaining about the pulp and wondering if it went bad. I have never gotten a rotten one. When it goes bad, it will have a sweet taste and will smell fowl. I use a tea strainer when I pour the milk in my coffee and it takes most of the pulp out. I would recommend this product.

This chocolate milk is AWESOME. Rich, sweet (but not too much, and very low sugar), thick. It’s perfect. My only complaint is that it’s expensive, but that’s what happens when you use real ingredients without any fillers. I’ve tried a few others – but THIS is the very best vegan chocolate milk on the market!

I love this brand of plant milks. They are made from very few ingredients (2 or 3) not with tons of fillers and emulsifiers like most brands and they also taste great. I generally buy the cashew or almond unsweetened. The cashew froths up the best for lattes.

We love this oat beverage. Its ingredients list is simple. The beverage tastes great.
However it was packaged so poorly that we won’t be buying it again from Amazon.
One out of six bottles was leaking on arrival so we asked for a partial refund, which was accepted “exceptionally and as a one-time thing only”. A few days later we realized two more had been damaged but we had already filed our refund request. In the end it made the beverage super expensive as we paid for 5 but only got 3. We will use a different vendor next time
