A culinary egg substitute. A blend of raising ingredients and stabilizer in a Gluten-Free base. Wheat Free, Nut Free, No Preservatives, Artificial Flavorings, or Sugar Added. No Cholesterol Contains no Eggs or Animal protein. Ener-G Egg Replacer is designed for use in baking. It works best in scratch recipes. It will not make scrambled eggs. Although it will work well in some pre-made commercial mixes, it does not work well in others. Trial and error is the only way to determine its effectiveness with a particular mix. Egg replacer mimics what eggs do in a baking recipe. It is important to put the batter of dough quickly into a preheated oven to ensure proper action as a delay will reduce the effectiveness of this product. With yeast raised products there is no need to get products containing egg replacer into the oven quickly

Other brands work only as a binder. This provides other textures such as emulsifying, and lifting. No sulfites added. Sulfites are used to keep white products whiter. But in turn, they make sulfur sensitive people sick.

I purchased to use as an egg replacer. My husband doesn’t do eggs. I made two different cakes. alas, they wouldn’t hold or stand up. I also couldn’t use a spatula to spread icing. Unless you have some additional trick, this product will not hold up a cake, no matter height it is.

Makes vegan cookies so perfect- crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. I’ve never been able to achieve this with other egg alternatives. A must have in everyone’s pantry!

I’ve used this product for a couple of years. I bake cookies with it…chocolate chip oatmeal. Perfect results. Helps with not using eggs with Vegan diet challenges.

I started using this product because my daughter had an egg allergy as a baby and toddler. This egg replacer powder works great in recipes that call for eggs. I especially love using it in cookies and banana bread. I do have to add about a tablespoon more liquid to the recipe to make up for the eggs (the powder calls for 2 tablespoons of water) but it works great and no one has been able to tell the difference in my recipes. I highly recommend this.

My local grocery stores don’t carry this anymore, so I bought it on Amazon. It was the only item in that order so they just slapped the shipping sticker on it and sent it off. The sticker covered the back where the instructions are. And the box was pretty banged up.
If you order this by without other items, do NOT choose to ship in manufacturer’s packaging!

Used this per instructions to replace one egg used in my cookie recipe. Completely different outcome. Cookies came out high in center with gritty texture.
Experienced very similar results with Bob’s Red Mill egg replacer.
Have yet to find a true egg replacement that duplicates what an egg adds to cookie dough.
V. Walls –
Is a good replacement for anyone allergic to egg. It works very well when baking and/or making pancakes. Does not need refrigeration like eggs.
