The tea itself taste ok, the condensed milk packet have some small hard crystals(like sugar) that don’t dissolve easily making it probably the most annoying thing when you’re drinking what should be liquid. The “instant boba” is just not good and would recommend making your own boba as I do and just add to the tea and condensed milk packets. Worth a try but will not be buying again.

Coffee is really good. Not sure if boba are supposed to be dry? Never had any like that.

I love this Thai milk tea, it has a wonderful flavor, great quality. It a little bit on the sweet side, even without using any of the condensed milk sweetening packet, it is quite sweet. It’s very tasty though and tastes like it has high quality ingredients. One trick I do with this to cut down on sweetness is to boil some brown sugar tapioca bobas (which are not sweetened) one the side, and add these to the tea rather than use the microwavable sweet boba package that comes with it, though those are very tasty and I use them sometimes too. Overall though it’s really good, their other flavors are excellent as well. I like their taro milk tea very much too.

This tasted really good after we made sure to heat up the boba balls good enough. Nice flavor and so much cheaper than buying them at the boba place in the mall.

Of the three packets I have tried so far – two got tossed into the sink.
The flavor of the taro is great – no issues there. It’s the boba / tapioca pearls that are reminiscent of a circular snail…a little crunchy, a little gooey..and difficult to cook.
I followed the directions each time and they have yet to come out decent. I tried the recommended 30 seconds and they practically disintegrated into my drink. Ok, I’ll try 20 seconds. Nope. Crunchy.
I tried 30 seconds with the packet in water – even worse. Take my advice and pass on the “instant” pearls and get the ones you actually boil in water.

I bought this gift with glass cups and straws as a white elephant gift. The gift was stolen many times. The flavor is great and it easy to make. Will say that wish there was more but for the price I am happy.

I want to start off by saying the guy that’s pissed the boba doesn’t “pop” is an idiot. There are lots of different types of bubbles in boba tea. The ones that pop are not the default. Tapioca balls are. This is the normal boba you get a tea shop if you’re not paying any up-charges. The only difference is that these boba are mixed w brownsugar (i assume to preserve them) which makes this a LOT sweeter and just general more rich.
I like my taro tea warm which makes the brownsugar boba really add to the “warm soothing creamy dessert drink” thing I was going for. I also felt like the powder was watery on its own so I used oatmilk as a base but that was VERY rich. I liked it but it’s one of those things you probably wouldn’t like if you weren’t hungry with a major sweet tooth. You’re probably just supposed to use two packs in one drink or something.
Finally, do NOT microwave the boba. It’ll be a gamble wether they come out perfect or hard as rocks. Heat a pot of water to a ROLLING boil. It’ll take a minute but it needs to be really boiling. Then place the pack of boba (unopened) in for 1-2 minutes and scoop it out w some tongs. I usually tend towards 2 minutes bc it’s better to cook it a little too long then not enough. If you do it that way the boba will come out perfect every time.
The boba that comes with this pack is especially “desserty”. I highly recommend trying this warm at least once. Especially now that it’s winter. It’s really great.

I found this product during my search and after reading the reviews I decided to give it a whirl. I followed Howard’s instructions to boil the boba in a pot of water for 2 minutes and the boba came out perfectly. The flavor is decent but it has a little bitter “tea” aftertaste. I think I’ll try it with milk as the base rather than water to cut down the bitterness next time. Overall I’d recommend this product.

The value for this box is great when comparing to buying boba from trucks oe restaurants. They’re super easy to make and the flavor in this Thai tea is great. The first one I used the milk packet and waste a huge fan. I think there is sugar or sweetener added in and it is almost crystallized and wad a little difficult to stir in and get it entirely melted down. The remaining packs we opted to use fresh milk and they were amazing. I cooked my bona for an additional 2 seconds in the microwave and it turned out perfect. Definitely reordering this!

We’ve had ice cold boba tea drinks many times and always enjoy them. This is the first time having a Vietnamese Coffee Boba drink. This kit makes having a special coffee drink very easy. Mix the coffee powder packet and condensed milk packet in hot water. We used a frother to be sure it was well mixed. Heat the boba in the microwave for 30 seconds, add to the coffee/condensed milk cup, stir and enjoy. The tapioca boba pearls are as good as we’ve ever had, and the entire drink is a very sweet coffee treat. We had it hot, rather than adding ice, since I’m not partial to cold coffee. Simple and delicious. Can’t ask for more.
