I have been buying this for about a year, and so far, it has been mostly fresh, and mostly closed-cap mushrooms that are firm. This is a good product that so far, has been fresh most of the time. For an agricultural product, “most of the time” is a good rating.
A mushroom farmer advised me to buy closed cap mushrooms whenever possible. They stay fresh longer than open cap.

I roasted these with olive oil, salt, and pepper and they were delicious! And that’s putting it mildly! We are having portobello fajitas next time! Can’t wait!!!

Nice size,whole or for slicing crisp, cook up nicely for stir fry Have purchased multiple times, smaller package but organic, usually they are pretty clean, with only some of the ends needing to be cut off a bit
