These are fresh for sure nice texture all that you would expect but only 1 thing .. the ones I got that day are very Earthy tasting with strong undertones & some may not like that taste. It might vary I would order them again just to see. ALSO, usually, I bake them . And I remember – I did try stuffing them w. Ricotta and that’s what didn’t go well mix of richness but w earthy taste.. I would not go that route again instead put them bottom side up remove stems (I hollow them out some cook remain pieces scatter them around on the baking pan) Add sauce red or white cook more than half-way then cover w. melted MOZZARELLA -is DelisH. I use a steak knife – the vegetarian texture is like meat substitute. flavor & texture is what makes this dish OR whatever you use them for. PS I’m not Vegan or Vegetarian but if you are.. it’s Yummy 😋

These are hit or miss on freshness!!!
Sometimes they will last for 3 to 4 days before having to be cooked sometimes they need to be cooked immediately great flavor Portabella’s always have a great flavor the problem is freshness Amazon get it together man inspect your product first!

I buy these mushrooms with every order I place from Amazon fresh. At the time of this review it was a pretty decent price. Flavor is great. It keeps for a a couple weeks.
