These shrimp are clean, consistent, and tasty. I like the combination of a peeled and deveined shrimp with the tail still on. For some reason, that’s hard to find. Most stores sell shrimp for twice the price of these, and they are not as nice. I bought some at Whole Foods for considerably more money, and they were disgusting – poorly deveined, mushy, mangled, and the taste was not fresh. These Fresh brand shrimp are a great product at an unbeatable price. Now if I could only figure out a way to buy them without going through Amazon delivery…

Since these are tail off, they are way more versatile for cooking. I use them a lot to make sweet and sour shrimp. Tail on is fine for a shrimp cocktail but not in a recipe. There’s just no way to deal with the tail politely when dining on shrimp fried rice that has tail in it. 😉

These shrimp are pretty good. Good flavor and reasonable price. My only small issue was that there were a good amount of shrimp in both bags I brought that still needed to be deveined. I will buy again.

Thawed into fresh shrimp like you wish all frozen products would thaw into a fresh whatever. Seriously could not tell the difference in these and my fish monger’s less than twenty-four hour sea harvest best selection.
