Nothing wrong with these onions except that they are all pretty much the same size. I would prefer a mix of sizes as I don’t always need a large onion and once cut they don’t stay fresh for too long in the fridge. Otherwise this bag of onions are fresh & plump, thin skinned and free of any traces of soil.

As others have said, these onions are very hit or miss. I just opened a new bag, and the first onion I cut open was completely rotten and immediately stunk up my whole kitchen area. Onions are durable and are often stored for perhaps a year before hitting the grocery shelves. For an onion to be that rotten, it’s probably at least two years old. The other onions in this bag seem to be fine. Just know that this isn’t the highest quality product sometimes.

I love sweet onions. Most onions make me bloated and gassy so I generally avoid them. Sweet onions do not have that affect on me. Bonus: They also do not make me cry when cutting them. A win-win!
