I love fresh herbs. This is a nice alternative to having a plant.
Desteny Escalet –
Best box for price. Very fresh!

It’s whole food plant based and taste delicious

Under the very top leaves in the package, the rest of the basil was slimy, wilted and moldy. Not worth the money.

This basil has come two times in a not fresh state. You’ll find slimy leaves under the ones on top. I found even the not-slimy leaves weren’t very flavorful, unfortunately.

The basil is very fresh, but it wilts quickly and turns brown. Plan to use within a few days of purchase. Make your own basil pesto, or dry some to use later. I like it in salads, and often add it to stews and other dishes.

Not particularly fragrant or flavorful and went bad very fast

I really love basil, and I put it on everything, not just Italian food, but I’ve always had a problem with it going bad before I could use it all. Well, those days are over.! I finally cracked the code in terms of how to keep basil fresh for at least a week. Take a few sheets of paper towels and loosely wrap the basil in the plastic container, making sure it’s completely dry. Put it in a dark cabinet. Don’t refrigerate it. Make sure the basil is fully covered. And just like that you have fresh basil for at least a week or possibly longer.

Use it immediately! Wait a day and 1/3 will be black. By day 3 you will probably have to throw it out. But, I like that it’s enough to make a batch of pesto (enough for a pot of pasta for 3-4 and to spread on a large pizza).

Arrives fresh, smells delicious, tastes good and a good size. Unfortunately turns bad after a couple days.
