The Columbian beans were undrinkable. I tried several styles of roasting and waited 3 days to grind and they tasted rancid. The Brazil beans were good and I haven’t tried the others yet.

The quality of the beans are great.

Didn’t know when buying, but apparently it is not recommend to drink un-roasted coffee it is unhealthy. I’ll have to figure out how to roast in a pot in my kitchen. Youtube, here I come.

I bought the starter pack.
The Columbian and Mexican were good and green beans.
The Indian Monsoon and Sumantra were brown beans ?
Does this mean they are old or improperly process ?
IDK, but what I do know is the Indian Monsoon tasted aweful
and the Sumantra wasnt far behind that … but was “okay”
If the company wants to make it right I can update my feedback
reflecting their customer service ..
UPDATE: Contacted them via their website and Customer service was AWESOME
they bent over backwards as the saying goes, to replace those 2 bags of coffee and
they did it with another flavor. I was nice and polite but still a pain in the backside a little
and they still continuted to make sure I was satisfied. AMAZING to see that anymore in
this world. Because of this I increased my feedback by one star ..
Also, I was informed that sometimes some unroasted beans are more brown than green.
But for me, they have always tasted different and a bit “off” , even with other companies.
Mustjust be a personal taste thing.

I’ve only begun roasting my own coffee and have ordered from Fresh Roasted Coffee, LLC twice. By getting four different varieties (countries) in each order, it gives me the opportunity to try different roast profiles to find my perfect cup of coffee.
The coffee beans are very consistent in shape and quality in each of the bags. And, the price is very competitive. I’ll definitely keep ordering from them.

Seriously, that is what it is labeled as, “Fresh roasted coffee, unroasted.” What it is is French unroasted beans. If you grind the unroasted beans and make coffee it will taste a lot like tea. So you have to roast them which means you should have a roaster. If you try to roast these in your oven you will only do it once. I use a roaster and do it outside. Once you roast it you will have a nice coffee that has no bitter taste. With your own roaster you can do light roast or dark roast, whatever you like.

Trying to get a consistent roast is next to impossible, the bean size and quality is all over the place. It still tastes fair because I have roasted it fresh. I have been doing it for years. But I think I will go back to my green coffee Beans From the place in Oakland. This place was easy using Amazon prime ,,, But the bean quality isn’t there.
