This shallot is a round red bulb. Looks a lot like a purple onion without the tears. I started using shallots because several of my grands did not like onions. Now a shallot is in the same family of an onion but doesn’t have the sharp taste.

They were put in huge pot with my own custom soil mix and never sprouted…m.o.f garlic a got from the store has done great…I will get shallots from W.M. next time and try to sprout
