These are usually very nice and healthy but last batch was not right. Some of the plantains could not ripe and are hardened with black skin. I was able to eat around 2 from the bundle and that’s it.

This plaintain did not turn yellow at all. Even after keeping it in a warm place of the house it refused to ripe. Instead it turned black and remained hardened. I ended up throwing it away. Not worth the time, patience or money. I will never purchase this product online again for this reason. I’ll rather purchase in store so I can see what I’m buying.

These are the most expensive plantains I’ve ever bought. That said, the seller maintained great communication, delivered the plantains green as promised and sped up delivery. Overall, I am pleased. Wish the price was more reasonable but otherwise totally satisfied.

Fresh Whole Plantains and they arrived green. I ordered them because I wanted yellow plantains. I ordered them on June 4 and they arrived on June 15th. They were green. On inspection they were in great shape and they looked like real, natural plantains look. I figure they will ripen to nice yellow plantains. I gave this product five stars on all counts, if they don’t turn yellow and taste good I will amend this review. (With in days they did turn yellow and tasted great 7/17.)

Dominican born users. Do not have access to plantains where I live. The first batch I received was good with 5 of 6 plantains being green and not yellow (yellow ones are sweet plantains). Last batch has all but one ripe plantain. Wish I could recommend but they need to ship ripe plantains consistently.

For a perishable item, the product was received in good condition and ripened well. The quality of the plantains was good. and tasted well whether fried or boiled. I was a bit surprised that there were only seven (7) plantains in the box. I expected more plantains for the costs charged. It is a convenient buy for those who cannot get out to the stores.

Absolutely wonderful customer service. My first order was perfect but I had a slight issue with the second order I placed (the plantains never ripened). so I contacted the vendor and they replaced the plantains for free.
The replacement plantains ripened beautifully and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I will be ordering more soon.

The product took a while to get here, I expected the plantains to be ripe with all that time. They were very green and took a while to become ripe. When they were ready to use, 1/2 were not usable, hard and dry on the inside.

Well not really fresh n the quality not the best for the price whole food suck as a super market I don’t like whole food get others market available to choose from prices to high n poor quality
