I would love to give this product more stars…. especially since it looks as if it comes from a small business, not some huge company….but… it was just okay. My elderly mother lives with me and i’m her caregiver. She has dementia. From the information i’ve Read about what people with dementia should eat, I have her on a very specific diet. I ordered this product when the usual product I get was out. For some reason I thought this was organic and is not…which is not a huge big deal… but when I looked at the ingredients, it has different types of oils in it…which I thought was odd. Also, I don’t know if seeds were left in it or what, but there were some strange crunchy things in every bite. Like I said.. I really wanted to like this product and support it, but… I just can’t. My other product is back in stock and i’ve Been so happy to get it back.

I’ve purchased these several times and really enjoy them. But after receiving a order with 3 of the 4 lb bags, I opened one and stored the other two in a cool dark place. The expiration date isn’t until May 2021 (11 months from purchase date) . After using all of the bag, I went to grab another bag, It looked cloudy and not clear like usual, I went ahead and opened it to see what was wrong….. it was all moldy! Ehhh!! I’ve never had this happen before and am super disappointed, especially since its no longer returnable.
If you do decide to purchase make sure the vacuum seal is sucked tight, the berries look clear, if not, return ASAP!! If all looks well it’s probably best to just store in the freezer for added protection

I repurposed a container from our protein supplement to hold the dried fruit mix. We all love this one! Will definitely be reordering it on the regular as we use it up. Using it mostly in hot and cold cereals. Thanks!

Once I opened the bag I noticed a very strong oil smell. The fruit seemed fresh but I really can’t be sure as so much oil was added it is very hard to just get the flavor of the fruit. After looking at the ingredients, it seems sun flower oil has been mixed with each type of fruit before bagging. I wish returns were accepted as the oil smell and taste are so strong this 5lb bag is now in the trash.
