These bags hold all our kitchen waste with ease.
I like that they break down in the landfill and that I’m cutting back on harmful plastics. These are more expensive than plastic bags, but still affordable and worth the extra cost.

I really wanted to like these bags and contribute to relieving this earth of non biodegradable item. The bags are very very thin. The bag leaks after one or two days from the “wet” garbage, leaking into the garbage can, which I then have to wash and disinfect. Also, there are no ties to tie the bag close making it difficult. This feature also prevents the amount of garbage the bag holds because I had to leave room to tie it off. I have returned them (disappointed) and cannot recommend.

I can’t find any place in Amazon to tell them I received these bags, nor to report slight locker malfunction. Because there was a physical problem with the amazon locker pick up, they think I did not receive the bags. I have the bags!!!

This product is better than bio bag at Costco. It’s sturdier and it doesn’t tear. It is generously sized and thick. Though more expensive, the performance is worth it. Spilling organics on the floor is enough to make you gag.
Recommend. Buying my second box.

These are big enough and sturdy enough—as long as no liquid gets to sit in the bag, ‘ melt’ it and then you have a disaster when pulling said bag out of the garbage container. If that could be fixed, I would buy these exclusively and could feel better about effective reduction of polluting trash.

I try to always use biodegradable, zero- or low-waste, or reusable options for everything. But using compostable bags in my regular kitchen trash can prove to be a real challenge. This bag is the sturdiest, thickest compost bag I’ve ever seen! However, it is a bit short for my trash can, which is a normal 13-gallon. We just have to be vigilant about not overfilling.
If you’ve never used compost bags before, keep in mind they break down very quickly when anything wet touches them. Also sharp corners of certain bags and such will easily tear through them. But it’s worth the hassle to have less plastic in the environment! This is the best if this type of product that I’ve used.
