Indigenous producers’ association in the mountainous Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta region of Colombia, renowned for its caliber of quality coffee. Indigenous families here have a long tradition of growing coffee, cultivating shade-grown beans nurtured by a philosophy of respect and care for the surrounding environment and the ancestral significance of the land. The name Seynekun translates to Mother Earth. Shade grown under indigenous trees interspersed with macadamia nut trees, Seynekun is fertilized with a mixture of macadamia nut pulp and coffee bean pulp giving it a distinctively nutty flavor. We then roast them to a medium dark Vienna Roast bringing out the distinctive macadamia nut and dark chocolate undertones followed by a prevalent Bourbon kick.
