These Hefty Strong kitchen bags are perfect for our needs. They are great to take out the trash… but also good for sealing and storing items. (of course you’d still need some good packing tape to make it air tight. ;-D)

Trash bags may not be an exciting purchase, but definitely one of those practical needs of modern living. Finding a brand of trash bag that consistently performs well just makes keeping the house tidy a little easier. I’ve tried all kinds of bags, and tried to save money with some bargain brands. Turned out they were cheap for a reason.
These bags rate high on the following:
* GOOD FIT. These bags fit all my 13 gallon trash cans. Cheaper brands don’t fit all the shapes and have to be stretched thin to fit the can and are hard to pull off.
* UNSCENTED. I don’t like bags that smell up the room with a fake scent. If the garbage is starting to smell, it creates an unsavory mix of whatever scent it is mixed with garbage odors. Gives new meaning to EAU de cologne.
* VALUE PRICED. The price is good, especially since I get 15% off by buying it through the Subscribe and Save program.
* STRONG. I fill these bags until they can’t hold anymore and have never had one bust or rip open. When I pick up a full bag, I don’t have to worry that all of a sudden the contents are going to be all over my kitchen floor, or in the yard on my way to the garbage bin.
Just a good all-around trash bag that for practical use.

I was looking to invest in something like a wagon for my teenage son when I take him on errands. So exited when i saw these considering the low price! When it arrived, my son got inside the bag and when I tried to lift it, the bag ripped. This comes with so many bags that it seemed like an ok defect, and each time my son got closed up in the bad, he started to breathe all funny. Still a nice product but would recommend for a tween maybe, under 120 pounds. Still a fun product and I am assuming would work better for a small child. Just to let you know, we are working with a therapist on my son’s increased stress breathing when he was inside the bag carrier though we find no explanation. Please let me know if you had the same problem with the carriers. Thanks!

they are strong trash bags and i can’t handle strong smells so not only do they not have some weird flower scent they do keep the trash smell in the bag

Remember, when all the major products had a jingle or slogan to them? Putt, Putt to the Pizza Hut! I can’t believe I ate the whole thing! Where’s the meat? I miss those. Now, you aren’t even sure what they’re selling in some of the commercials.
Anyway, Hefty, Hefty, Hefty here are some great kitchen trash bags. They aren’t the strongest ones they make, because they make some super strong ones, but these are plenty strong for our needs. My sister tends to overfill the trash bags and shove just a Little more in, before closing them. Then, there’s the Kitty Litter! EWWW!! No one wants the bag to break with that in there…lol Trust me, it happened with some cheaper bags and we had to clean the carpet, on top of everything else. Some things are worth paying just a little bit more for. These are higher than some brands, but you’re getting a lot of bags here. I have allergies and a sensitive nose, so have to go with everything “unscented”.
I recommend these. They’re strong, a good value, last a long time, unscented and stay closed. Thank you for reading my review.

THESE NAME BRAND WERE BOUGHT VERY FAST AN NO DEEP THOUGHT, JUST IT BEING A MAJOR BRAND NAME.
Why?
I bought large case of the Amazon Basics Brand (or whatever is it’s “brand name is”. The Amazon bags were thin but seemed fine. Bought another box of the same, and EVERY SINGLE AMAZON would leak, making such a disgusting mess. Never once could find the hole/defect making the first box of cheap bags to be ok – the first refill aka second pursechase of exact same cheap Amazon Bags
Jumped at first lowest NAME BRAND on sale and FREE NEXT MORNING DELIVERY (for where I live, that means at my door HOUR AND HOURS BEFORE I WAKE UP between 9-10ish am.
EXCELLENT NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM WITH THIS (I suspect the other name brands).
I’ll never buy discount brands of disposable trash bags.
(For my use, I use/put in kitchen nothing but trash from the kitchen: exterior food packaging – duh and the rest is Food 1.peeles from fruit & veg and meat for prep, food that somehow went from fresh to trash …. And then only the scraping of food stuffs after a meal, and the crumbs WND ALL THE GROSS VIDIBLE MEAL PREP AND THE PAPER TOWEL WITH A CLEANINF LIQUID FOR THE INVISIBLE JUICE, BLOOD, FAT DRIPPING OFF FOOD)
That is the exclusive use for me and into outside trash ASAP, a bit later if super cold, hot or very very late at night
WHY DID I EVER CONSIDER TRYING TO SAVE MONEY ON SHORT TERM USE & TOSS KITCHEN TRASH BAGS??? Stupidity on my part.
The one thing you DO NOT GO CHEAP ON is the bag for all the stuff that will almost immediately beging to rot the moment you put the food based trash into it.
The price per bag, the need to only use ONE bag and not need to double if heavy load is about the same.
Add the cost of cleanup from buying the cheap bags is nothing compared to the emotional and physical finding in your cleam kitchen, trash bags had leaked, the anger frustration cleaning up … all for discount bags… never again. THESE ARE JUST BRAND KITCHEN TRASH BAGS, BUT ITS ABOUT NEAR TOP ON GETTING THE BEST YOU CAN .

This one is good and cheap
