Finally they went back to the original recipe from decades ago. Those giant garlic pieces in it are finally gone. Stuff was awful for about a decade but now its back to being great. Leave the recipe alone!!

I’m not sure if this is the same “H.F. Beefstick” of ages past, but it’s apparently as close as you’re going to get these days. Now it goes by “Signature” beefstick. Pricey, at about $19 a pound, but not much more than others out there. Was a ‘Holiday’ treat as a kid for our family – 50+ years ago – oooh, that’s hard to admit!

My husband and I really like this sausage! We like that it is all beef. We both eat according to the blood type eating program. He is type O and so beef is one of his mainstays. The quality of this sasusage is excellent and it has a rich flavor.

I’ve purchased this a few times on Amazon and elsewhere. I would buy for my dad every year. This and cheese. He loved summer sausage with Limburger cheese. He passed a year ago but I’m gonna order this and some stinky cheese again and make it my tradition to remember him when we would sit together and snack on it and the cheese.
