So far I like these a lot. I do wish they had some type of zipper or seal but that’s just hard to do when you’re trying to go plastic free so I understand why they don’t. They are thinner material than your average storage bag but so far they seem pretty strong. I really like that they are compostable and biodegradable. They freeze well and they hold in freshness (we’ve mostly used them for bread making so far). They come in a roll of 50 bags which is a good amount and they’re very easy to tear off of the roll. I’m really pleased so far!

These environmentally friendly, compostable bags are fantastic as long as you don’t LEAVE LIQUIDS or WET DISPOSABLE PRODUCTS sitting in them for long periods of time. The moisture will begin the process of breaking down the bag materials. Fantastic as far as compostable waste disposal is concerned however & the large size fits my kitchen trash can perfectly. If you can, just remember to directly compost your juicier kitchen waste products!

Purchased this product to replace a different compostable bag previously used for discarded organic food products. The previous bag was prone to fall apart with prolonged exposure to moist items. However, this product is more durably structure because it has not fallen apart after a few days in the compost can.

I LOVE these bags, I buy them specifically for pet waste bags.
I have 9 guinea pigs and strictly use these bags for their poopies, extra hay, pellets, etc. So, it’s all natural and biodegradable waste. And I felt awful putting all of this natural waste into giant plastic bags. I bought these and feel amazing about not polluting the planet with more nasty plastic just to throw away a biodegradable substance.
For my purpose they work phenomenally because I don’t overstuff them and I’m not putting anything wet in them so they stay in tact. I did force my fiance to use these as kitchen trash liners for a while, but he hated them because they can rip if you’re not gentle with them. (And he wasn’t)
Personally, I didn’t have an issue with them when I was using them as kitchen trash liners. You just can’t manhandle them or throw anything sharp in there or it will lead to a mess.
Regardless, I would recommend these bags for everything! The only issue being is that they’re more expensive, but totally worth it in my opinion for guilt-free conscience.

These non-plastic compostable bags are outstanding. I have tested them with coffee grounds, chicken bones, semi-liquids (think remains of soup), all manner of vegetable parts and nothing has made them rip, tear or split, even when it is a few days between trips to the compost bin. As an urban dweller, I am delighted with these bags with the best feature being that they are not plastic and I can cleanly add my food waste to the public compost bins. I highly recommend them.

We have a weirdly sized trash bin. It is tall and narrow. The normal kitchen trash bags are too big and have to be tied to stay in. These are actually the perfect size and shape. And they are eco friendly!. Win, Win!

These fit the kitchen bin perfectly. So easy to take out each night and throw in outdoor green bin. I love that the bag is compostable too. It makes it all so easy.

We’re using these little bags to line our kitchen compost bins and bathroom trashcans. They hold up well, do not leak, and are plant-based. They cannot be put in the yard/kitchen waste trash, but they will break down and disappear in the trash because they contain no plastic. They are even good for picking up pet waste! We’re destroying our planet in many ways, but at least by using these bags, we’re not contributing to the problem of plastics in the environment. Highly recommended!
