I’m starting wonder if it’s a farm in the Amazon factory. This was very fresh and juicy.

Really enjoyed this.

I waited a few extra days after delivery to cut this honeydew open. It was hopelessly unripe. When I select a melon at the store I make certain it’s ready to eat. The flower end should give slightly to pressure. I don’t want to wait a week or two for it to ripen at home.

I began ordering these melons in the winter. Believe it or not, they were better tasting and larger in size in the winter than they are in the Spring and Summer. I used to order 4 of these melons every week but stopped because I’ve had to throw them out the past couple of times. They weren’t rotting, they were just small and tasteless.
The melons I got in the winter were magnificent. They were double the size and tastier than any honeydew melon I’ve ever had. Not sure if the suppliers are different in the winter than in the summer but I’m going to wait until winter to order more of these.

The best part about buying from Prime for groceries?
Oh let me count the ways!
This melon was soooo juicy, but just a touch shy of sweet. Not bad for my husband and I, who are trying to reduce some sugars where we can, but be aware you may not get one super sweet.
And if we had paid attention and let it sit, it would have turned perfectly ripe within a few days, which means what we just bought had a good shelf life ahead.
