Central American is an ideal region for growing coffee due to it’s abundant rainfall, rich soil, and vast sunlight. Coffee within such regions tend to exude flavor notes of caramel, toffee, and hazelnut. We suggest roasting these to a light/medium profile.

Beans are irregularly sized, some half beans, but not quite a peaberry. Less crisp than Guatemalan or Costa Rican, more like Colombian, but without that distinctive Colombian aftertaste. After three roasts it’s starting to grow on me. it does seem to take longer to get to second crack.

Beans are broken and of uneven color. Also found a small piece of stone which almost broke my ceramic grinder.
Will not buy again.
