IF YOU CARE Reusable Paper Towels are made 70% cellulose & 30% cotton, making it extremely porous and extra absorbent. They can absorb up to 16 times its own weight in water. Unlike bamboo towels, our Reusable Paper Towels do not leave fibers on surfaces even after multiple washes. Use for wiping countertops in kitchens and bathrooms and cleaning without leaving streaks. They are remarkably durable, tear resistant, and reusable for at least one week. Every day, Americans throw away 6 million lbs (3000 tons) of paper towels. It takes 51,000 trees and 60 million gallons of water per day to produce the paper towels which we dispose after a few seconds of use. By using one sheet per week of our Reusable Paper Towels, this one roll will replace 18 rolls of conventional paper towels (based upon the weekly average household usage). The packaging and product is compostable in commercial composting facilities, leading to a further reduction in waste, greenhouse gasses, and diversion from landfill. Rinse and wring out excess water to increase absorbency. TIP: Simply run the towel in the microwave or boil in water for one minute to sanitize. IF YOU CARE is a brand that cares about our health and environment as much as you do. That’s why our kitchen and household items are all carefully crafted to have the least environmental impact and leave the least carbon footprint possible, while at the same time, delivering the highest quality products.

The reviews so far on this product are pretty mixed, but I decided to give them a try. No complaints here! They are normal paper-towel size as far as I’m concerned, absorb really well, and clean up beautifully in the dishwasher. I think the label says one towel will last a week, but I’m on week four of using the first towel! Perfect for wiping kitchen counters — I’m now buying a second set that I can use for food-related kitchen tasks, like absorbing extra oil/fat from cooked bacon, or wiping the edges of plates before serving. (I’m planning to take a marker and put a little dot on the “non-food” towels that I use with counter cleaner just so I can tell them apart. Hopefully I can educate my family in the new system!)

Love these compostable towels. They last a really long time and rinse out cleanly. Great for scrubbing and wiping up spills. I bought these to replace the Bambooies that I used to buy and throw in the compost bin only to find out that somewhere along the way, they were no longer made to be compostable. These work way better than the Bambooies anyway and ARE compostable. Win-win!

I’ve been trying different products to use less paper towels and have not been happy until getting these. They are absorbent (other cloth products I tried just moved the liquid around), they are sturdy – can use one all week as described, in most cases like them more than paper towels unless it’s a sanitary issue.

I use these instead of washcloths to wipe kitchen surfaces. I use one for about two weeks then throw it away. It’s better than using a dishcloth that gets smelly in just a few days. These are thin so they dry quickly, but they are very durable.

We tried these in the attempt to stop using paper towels. They’re ok. But a cloth towel accomplishes the same thing

I like them fine but I haven’t figured out how to store them after I’ve used them. You rip it off the roll, use it, rinse it out or toss it into the washer (don’t dry in the dryer) and unless you’ve got something that can sit on top of it that is the same size, it is all misshapen and the corners curl. That’s not a big deal really it’s just a minor annoyance. If I really tried I bet I could figure out a way of storing them.
They are thick and absorbent. When wet they are soft. I’ll probably buy them again when I’ve gone through the entire roll and they are no longer useable.

I have been using this same manufacturers smaller, thicker, green towels for years and have pretty much loved them.
I have used them to wash dishes, wipe up spills, with just water wipe down my windows (ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL FOR WINDOWS), wash my face, clean slobber off my fur babies face and even clean my toilets with. Just don’t use bleach.
I always wished they were larger. So when I saw these I had to try them.
The size is perfect. They are just too thin.
The pictures I have attached are 2 weeks of use. I was able to get a couple more days out of the one pictured and had to toss it out 🙁
PLEASE, PLEASE make these just a little thicker (maybe twice as thick as they are now but not as thick as the original green ones) and I will be back to change my review to 5 stars.
Edit: I didn’t realize that the packaging states they are only supposed to last a week.
As you can see in the pictures I have provided. That one is about two weeks old. So according to the package details, they are actually lasting about a week longer than they are supposed to.
I will definitely continue to buy these. But I would still like to see them just a little thicker.

Sometimes my kids and husband will throw them out, but rarely. I love these paper towels. They’re rigid and hard when dry, but they rinse VERY EASILY. I’ve heard complains of other towels molding, which these do not mold if you take care of them like normal cloth. I love using mine for my swiffer, IT WORKS FANTASTIC as a resizable swifter pad and you get SO MANY more uses out of it. I’ve been using these as dinner “napkins” because we are used to using paper towels, just a little moisture and they’re a perfect cloth like consistency for wiping your hands and what not. I tried to wash them once, they shredded into the lint filter, however, i haven’t had a problem with shedding at all by hand washing. I haven’t tried boiling or microwaving them, which is how the package says to disinfect it i believe. You have to retrain yourself to use these because throwing things away becomes a reflex. Overall excellent product i just bought my second pack.

It’s too expensive and has a small when first wet but it goes away.

These turned out to be better than I expected them to be. They are truly reusable. I spilled a glass of red wine and one towel cleaned it up. I rinsed the towel with soap and then cleaned up the residue and rinsed again. Then dried the towel and no red wine stayed in the towel. They are good bit stiff when dry and require moistening to use normally, but they work. I brought these almost 2 months ago and have only used 3 towels of the 12 in the roll. Very please to have found an alternative to use. I do use cloth rags for cooking to wipe hands and air dry dishes.
