While it definitely is NOT ground for a drip maker, which is what it said it was for, and that’s why I ordered it, the taste is SO amazing, and I will re-order it. Opening the can and having the aroma drifting out was quite a beautiful experience. So was drinking it.
I did knock a star off because it is NOT drip-grind.
(Why not ground for drip, even though that’s what I ordered? This is powder, and would be far better suited to espresso.)
But again, the taste is going to keep me coming back. It is superb! Fresh, long-dated, and clearly marked as to when it was ground. I like knowing that, I’ve gotten “old” coffee at one point or another, and it’s gross.

Enjoyed this brew. Rounded scoops weren’t required as a level scoop per cup was fantastic. ONLY PROBLEM WAS HOW TO KEEP COFFEE FRESH WITHOUT A SNUG LID. VACCUUM PACKED FOR FRESHNESS ISN’T FAILSAFE.

I received an Espresso pot as a gift quite a while ago but never got around to using it. I finally got around to it and heard Illy was a good brand. I was impressed with container, the freshness, and flavor.
The coffee shows up in a metal canister with a tight seal. The coffee was a beautiful dark brown and smelled incredible. After reading the directions for the coffee maker, I made my first pot and it came out rich, thick, and delicious.
Compared with another lower cost brand I purchased after Illy, I won’t be starting away from this as my “go to” espresso. I will of course try more just like when I buy wine, liquors, etc… but Illy is the right price for the quality.

I recently purchased this ground coffee, and it has become my new favorite! The aroma is inviting right out of the bag, and the flavor is rich and robust. It brews a smooth cup with just the right amount of boldness and no bitterness. I’ve tried it in both my drip coffee maker and French press, and it delivers consistently excellent results. The packaging is also convenient, keeping the coffee fresh for a long time. Overall, this ground coffee has elevated my morning routine with its delightful taste and quality. Highly recommend for coffee enthusiasts!

This is a really good, robust dark roast decaf coffee. The flavor is excellent – you can’t tell it’s decaf from the taste and it’s not bitter like so many of the dark roast coffees are.

I didn’t notice the lid was “puffy” and when I opened it, it exploded all over! So beware! After I cleaned up and made some coffee, I was pleased. The coffee smells and tastes great!

I drink my coffee black and unsweetened. I’m picky and hate that nasty bitter, kinda dirty aftertaste that so many coffees give.
This one is smooth, clean, warm, full bodied, almost peanutty in the brief aftertaste. It’s lovely for sipping all day.

As good a coffee as you can get without grinding your own beans. Rich, flavorful taste that produces a wonderful crema in your espresso machine! Creates as good a cappuccino as I received in Italy.
