Can’t go wrong with Irish Spring and this price too. Don’t really like other soap brands and these products always make you smell fresh. I also like how the scent stays with you throughout the day

This is not a beauty bar. It’s basic (and that’s a GOOD thing) and smells fine, although you’re not going to smell like a fashionista or anything. It does the job. If your skin runs a little greasy, like mine, this bar will help remove the grease and grime for us hard-working folks. Inexpensive. Lasts a long time. My soap of choice. It’s a treat after a long day. Highly recommended.

I have used this soap since I was a kid. Now this isn’t nearly as strong of a fragrance than in yesteryear. But I don’t mind. My only issue is the flaxseed oil. I don’t like it. I don’t like oil in my soap when I’m trying to remove my own oils on my body!! Plus that stuff leaches out of the soap, and makes the bars super slippery to hold on to. It lathers up well, still stings your eyes, and still cleans. The old recipe is gone, as I will be one day…..but I’ll still remember the days of smelling “Spring” fresh all day, not a couple hrs.

I’ve been a loyal user of this soap since childhood. Over the years, I’ve noticed the fragrance isn’t as potent as it used to be, which is actually fine by me. However, I do have a gripe with the inclusion of flaxseed oil in the formula. It seems counterintuitive to have oil in a product meant to remove body oils, and this ingredient makes the bars quite slippery.
Despite these points, the soap still lathers well and retains its effectiveness in cleaning, even if it does sting the eyes a bit. While the original recipe has changed, much like many things do over time, it still brings back memories of feeling fresh for hours, an experience that’s now a bit more fleeting.

I guess I’m old school & prefer soap bar instead of body wash. The smell is great & the value is amazing over similar style bars. I prefer to order from Amazon instead of big retail stores because of the price & convenience. Would buy again

Are you old enough to remember the line from the commercial… “It’s manly yes, but I like it too!” I’m not sure what makes one soap manlier than another, but I can say that Irish Spring has a nice, fresh scent that also makes your bathroom smell good even when you aren’t using the soap. The exfoliating version of this soap has little rough bits in it – almost like small grit from sandpaper. Its hard to tell if it really exfoliates, but I can report that it doesn’t feel too rough on my skin.

I buy this by the literal Butt-load. Never want to run out. Although it does not deter MY Deers (as home deterrents would have you believe) here in Southern Indiana, it does lather up nicely in the shower for my Husband which is what it was intended for. I keep an unwrapped bar in his dresser drawers to keep his clothes smelling fresh. Nice scent.
