Family trip and a 5+ hour flight. This thing has a very strong magnet and it was excellent to hold our iPhone 12 Pro phones closer to eye level. The magnet is strong enough, I’m tempted to try installing the magnet on an iPad and seeing if it would hold that up. We got two of them and we’re both very happy with this purchase. Excellent pickup, long travel just got an upgrade.

I love this thing. Every plane ride since I got it I’ve been asked at least once about it. Works as described and fits in every tray so far. I travel 2-3 weeks a month and each trip is at least 4 planes total. This even fits in my pocket while attached to my phone. You can adjust the angle for better viewing. It’s great!

I was looking for something for my iPhone. This works amazing. Just use it on a first class flight with United. I have other flights coming up and this will always be in my bag so much better than looking down or having to hold the phone. Great product great quality.

It’s a little bulky to carry but very sturdy.

I like this MagSafe version versus the original with spring clips. I could easily change position from portrait to landscape without having to move the holder. I like using this holder while changing my mobile on the plane rather than just putting it in the seat back pocket filled with dirty remnants from previous travelers.

My phone (a Samsung Galaxy S21) does not adhere to the magnet. At all.

Used this for airplane travel. The catch to go on a seat back (generally where magazines are kept) is fairly strong for a good, no-fail grip but may be too much for weak hands. It is extended by means of a thumb lever. The magnetic ring for iphones held the phone securely and the hinge allowed adjustment without slipping. It worked perfectly and allowed continued viewing while using the tray table for something else.

I’m using this with a Google Pixel 7 in a Peak Design case. I’ve only been on one flight, but it performed flawlessly. The magnet appears to be plenty strong (including takeoff) and there was plenty of adjustability. Materials are a mix of plastic and metal. Overall very satisfied.

My Galaxy S22 isn’t a magsafe device so I had to use the sticky magnet ring on the back of my phone. I cleaned my phone and adhered the sticky ring. I put my case back on my phone which applied constant pressure on the ring for a few days bc I wanted to make sure it sealed. I got on the plane, took off my phone case and attached my phone to the mount. I needed to adjust the phone over to the left a bit so I pulled my phone from the mount. The sticky ring stuck to the magnet/mount and came off the back my phone and would not adhere again. So disappointed. I’ll have to get a mount with adjustsble clamps to hold my phone in place.

The product is made of decent material (unlike the first one I ordered and immediately returned.) It clips well to the vent in the car, but I didn’t find anything it would clip to on the airplane, which was my original reason for buying it. It works great for gps in the car. You clip it to the vent or whatever in the car and it holds the phone steady. In the few weeks I have been using it, it has only fallen once. It is fairly stable. I’m happy with it.
The magnetic circle that must be attached to the phone is thin, but it won’t fit oh the phone with a pop socket (the popup holder you put on the back of the phone or case.) You’ll have to choose one or the other since both are “permanently” stuck.
