With a root this size, you should be able to plant a piece – BUT NO! The seller cuts off all the eyes. I went on Ebay and ordered 4 rooted plants in pots for $25. Go spend your money there!

Product does not match advertisement. It is not pink galangal, does not have active leaf growth, all tender eyes have been hacked-off (save one), has mold in one cut, and it is covered in some waxy/oily residue. Gross, especially the oil residue. Send me a clean specimen please.

The root has no rhizomes. I bought it to plant it and this one is completely useless. The picture is misleading.
