Received these today. There are 5 fairly big shallots in a well packaged bag. None are damaged or rotting. Looks real good to me. I plan on planting these this weekend. My 1st time growing shallots. So If it goes south it very well could be a fault of my own. BUT if I gets some good growth I’ll definitely update. Happy gardening!

I got 4 bulbs, which was large in size but they all were soft and mushy/rotten and covered in black mold. I peeled off the outer layer and you can see the mold ran thru the entire shallot. I bought these to plant and grow but with all the mold and how squishy/rotten they were, I couldn’t even try to use them by cooking them in a dinner. They was a waste of money. I would recommend another supplier. Plus they were too expensive for only 4 bulbs that couldn’t be broken apart.

There were three bulbs. I expected more. I planted one, and still have two.

I only received 3 shallots but they are HUGE. One I could split into 2 so that gave me 4 but don’t think you’re going to get loads because you won’t. Can’t wait to see how they appear in the spring/summer!

These are much fresher and brighter than the ones I usually buy at the grocery. And, I used the entire package within a week. Ironically, they were less expensive than the old, stale ones sold at my grocer!

I received 4 bulbs. Two of the bulbs were enormous and could not be split. The other two were medium sized but only one of which could be split.
First time ordering shallot bulbs so I’m a bit disappointed in them. I think I could have gone to a food market and bought them there for far less than what I paid for these 4 bulbs.

Dislike the size very small and call them jumbo.

Never having purchased produce on Amazon before, I didn’t know what to expect. So I ordered the smallest quantity available of three different items from this seller just to check it out. I am very pleased! The bag of shallots is in perfect condition and my order arrived almost 2 weeks before it was expected! Everything was packaged with care and shipped priority. Extremely impressed with both the quality of the produce and the seller’s care in packing and shipping it! Highly recommend!
