I made spicy chicken and broccoli with scallions with this stuff. It was perfect! Cut up vegetables, set aside. Mix 1 cup water 3 or 4 teaspoons hoisin sauce, 1 tablespoon corn starch, 1 tablespoon cooking sherry and red pepper flakes to taste. Cut chicken into bit size peices and coat with corn starch. Add 1 tablespoon peanut oil to frying pan, addchicken to hot pan cook until lightly brown. Turn heat to medium and add vegetables, cook for 2 or 3 minutes. Add sauce, cook until vegetables become tender but firm, about 2 or 3 minutes. Serve over rice or cauliflower rice and top with toasted sesame seeds if desired. Enjoy!

Easy to use form of Hoisin sauce that is easy to use in comparison to a jar that needs to be spooned out. Flavor is excellent, in keeping with this brand’s reputation.

WOW- My awesome husband BBQ on stakes…ohh yummy melted in your mouth watering. Once a tangy glaze and more BBQ flavoring just is out of this world. For get you Panda Express sauces. This is the best we’ve found so far.
The bottle was wrapped well, however the cap that snaps on was broken. Over all I can’t wait to find more ways to cook with this.

…but like so many other reviewers stated, the cap was broken. Thankfully, the safety seal was still intact so I didn’t have any leakage. I don’t don’t understand why someone doesn’t do anything about this, badly packaged, just thrown into a box with one very undersized air pillow, may as well not had one at all. Used a wine cork and it fit perfectly. Expiration date a year and 10 months away so no problem there. Good taste, good value.

It has a great taste and is vegetarian too! Because I’m not a meat eater, finding good tasting items that pack flavor is difficult to do. This especially holds true for Chinese Food. Often my Chinese food take out, has offered to put Oyster Sauce in my dishes, and I have had to say no, please don’t. But now I can make home dishes that actually taste like they came out of the Take Out place!!! I just sautee up my veggies and add LoMein noodles with this lovely Hoisin sauce, and I’m loving the dish! When it comes in at a fraction of the cost of take out, well, I’m loving that even more!

We love making a lot of Asian food dishes, and my local grocery stores by my house don’t always carry the ingredients I need, so I had to get the hoisin sauce from Amazon, and I really like this one. It made some great beef dishes.

The Oriental grocery store near my home closed up and all of the supermarkets have limited choices of very small bottles of oyster sauce so i’m very happy with this product.

I have always liked Hoisin sauce, but it was so hard to find after moving to my current location, and then it only came in small jars — very expensive. I like having the 36 ounce bottle, so that I don’t feel restricted in how I use it. I put a little of this into a lot of recipes – not just Chinese or Asian-style — because it is so good. Knowing that I have the whole case of bottles frees me to really use it!
There are differences in sauces, and sometimes I might want a slightly different flavor for some uses, but, this is a GOOD sauce and I really use it almost every day.
I will keep ordering this. A good price, and just what I wanted.
