Very affordable. I always thought letter openers were Bourgeois and unnecessary. But my wife picked these up and now I’m using them easy time. This 5pk makes it easy to keep a couple in the kitchen, one st work, one in the office, plus a spare.

I have been ordering this product for years…The best..and reasonable for what you get..

I gifted two in their favorite color to my office ladies, but I kept the rest. I kept the other 3 for where I most often open mail. One at work, one in my mail shelf at home, one on the kitchen counter. I have an easy way to open my mail wherever I am now! There was one drawback in that the razor juts out quite a ways, so at the last little bit it won’t cut. You have to nick the other side if you want it all to look nice, but that’s still better than messily tearing all your envelopes!

Needed one of these because I misplaced my other one. Well-made and the fact that you get 5 for such little money makes it all worthwhile. Highly recommend.!

Ordered a pack for the office. Two out of the 5 have broken. One broke while opening a semi-wet envelope (from the rain), which is disappointing since its soft and wet and yet it managed to break the second one. They’re decent but the quality could be better.

I bought them because the ones that we had before these were constantly breaking, and ever since getting these, OMG, they are amazing. They have lasted much longer than my old ones. They can cut through paper, plastic, and cardboard easily.
Amazon Customer –
The blades are smaller and the shape is different than other letter openers I had used prior, which made me skeptical of their ability to perform at first. However, the blades are very sharp, and they get the job done quickly and easily.
To my surprise, these actually seems to be MORE EFFICIENT and easier to use than the ones I’ve had in the past.
The paper has NOT gotten stuck in the blades! This was a frequent problem and happened several times with other letter openers I had used previously.
Not to mention, it’s these are the most cost efficient letter cutters on Amazon; considering there are 6 in a pack for only $5, whereas most other brands cost at least $7 for only 3. If one dulls out, breaks, or is misplaced you can just move onto the next one because there’s 5 more!

I first got a style of letter opener like this 20 years ago and I had it for nearly 20 years, only finally replacing it with this set because it was really struggling to get through mail and I think the tip might have finally broke off.
This one works great and I suspect it will also last me many many years. I love it. SO much easier than a standard straight letter opener.
Seriously, this style is worth it.

They are sharp, colorful, and easy to use. The gap between the blade and handle is larger than I expected. Plenty of room to get fingers in there. The colorful plastic makes them VERY interesting to curious kids.

I receive a lot manila/heavy-weight envelopes. The first time I used one of these to open a manila envelope I thought the guide part was going to snap off. I ended up using a scissor instead. These are fine for a standard weight paper envelope, but if–like me–you need to open heavier weight envelopes, look for something sturdier. In addition, these are quite thin and may be hard to hold or maneuver for someone with bigger hands or dexterity issues.
