I purchased this after a friend told me about it. The package says tender, it’s far from it. It also has a very odd after flavor. I would not purchase again.

In the past I have enjoyed jerky but the dry, tough texture has turned me off over the years. It didn’t help that they were beef or turkey with no delicious flavor to speak of. I’d still eat it as a quick ‘pick me up’ and source of protein.
NOW I AM IN LOVE!! Korean BBQ is my favorite flavor… I’ve tried 2 others. I can relate to others leaving reviews that it is ‘tough’ but I find that in each of my bags I have many more tender pieces that could melt in your mouth.
The only pieces that I can relate to as being ‘tough’ are VERY SIMILAR to making a corned beef. It has to be sliced across the grain. It is the same with this product. The VERY FEW pieces that others might consider tough are tender to me once I bite and eat it ‘across the grain.’

You guys sent me an expired one by a month the taste was horrible that is what made me look at the date.
This is my favorite beef jerky but makes me not sure if I spend the money for it and can’t even enjoy if I will do this again. Thank god I only got one this time or I would have made a stink.

Jerky was okay but not great. Flavor was not really as expected It as too soggy and to hard at the same time. Did not enjoy it very much

The product was disappointing because it was stale, dry, and unsatisfying. I’ve bought a bigger bags of these from a local market; however, they tasted completely. Honestly, I feel it’s how this product is stored and transported because this product is normally excellent. I will not be ordering this product from Amazon again unfortunately.

I am not a fan of Jerky, no matter what brand it is, but I ordered Lorrisas grass fed steak strips, I became a fan immediately. These Steaks are tender, and I like the taste, plus they are organic, and That is important to me.

I was looking for a healthy non-dairy protein snack when I came across an advertisement for Lorissa’s Kitchen jerky in one of my fitness magazines. I realize that jerky in general is high in sodium, however, with the quality ingredients they use in their products such as grass-fed beef, I thought it was an acceptable trade-off. What’s even better is that these jerky snacks (beef, pork & chicken varieties) are absolutely delicious. My favorite is the Korean Barbecue – sweet with a hint a black pepper. I can’t keep my pantry stocked as everyone in the family likes all the flavors. I recommend getting the variety pack sold here on Amazon so that you can try each flavor. They are so handy to have in my gym bag, to take on road trips or to have in my purse in case I’m out & get hungry (prevents me from eating fast-food junk). Check out the label – a great source of protein!

As a self-proclaimed beef jerky aficionado, this is my all-time favorite! I found this in a convenience store (Wawa) but it was probably $7 for a small bag. I love beef jerky so I got it anyway. I’m very picky, as jerky tends to be very peppery, too stringy, dry and tough. I do realize it’s dried meat. But this is very flavorful, somewhat-soft and chewy… great texture and flavor, better quality beef (it’s grass-fed beef so it’s more tender). It’s like a mild teriyaki BBQ flavor, you can definitely taste the garlic and a tiny hint of spicy (definitely mild). I have been ordering the 4-pack and have a co-worker addicted now too. Cheaper than retail, if you can find it. Haven’t tried the other flavors but I will eventually get to that. We are going to look into buying cases for an even better discount! LOL

Normally, I am not a fan of red meat (or any meat for that matter). Consequently I HATE jerky. But my daughter loves it so when I came across this Grass Fed, Nitrite-free variety, I bought a bag for HER to try. I opened it to try before taking it home to give to her and I ended up eating the whole bag. Crazy Good! The Korean BBQ is very flavorful. The bad is about a quarter full but I find the amount provided satisfying. Some pieces are tougher/chewier than others but most were tender and easy to chew. Glad I found these in bulk on Amazon & cheaper then at my local grocer. I take a bag to work when I’m rushing and don’t have time to pack lunch and use them as snacks in my daughter’s lunchbox. LOVE that it is Grass Fed beef and made without preservatives. If you are on the fence, I definitely suggest giving this brand a try!
